When upgrading ic's does this raise boost in any way or can you just do a straight swop without changing anything like fuel/timing etc? or will this be an instant performance gain?

it won't change the pressure, but it will cool the air better than stock. you probably won't notice any change with a stock setup, perhaps a small gain when fitted to a Z with a few mods, but they are vital when upping boost above say 16psi. don't need to change setup when installing. are you talking about side-mounts or front-mount?

Was thinking side mounts realy, running 14 psi on boost jets, jd chip, zorst , fidanza f/w,rps clutch etc.........whats your opinion, will i gain anything?

my opinion would be you may notice a little improvement under full boost but its more of a requirement when running higher boost than a mod in itself. but if you can get a decent one and have the cash for it then it won't do any harm, actually it'll help reduce the chance of detonation due to hot air.

i have smic's from u.s. "godspeed" ic's.

massive compared to stock, direct fit too, with stock bumper.

car not running right at the mo, so cannot comment on bhp gain.
