Hi Guys n' Gals,

Now, I only bought the Zed last weekend and today was only the second real chance to look around it in the daylight.

Front tyres are Goodyear Eagle F1s - 245/40ZR18

Rear tyres are Goodyear Eagle F1s - 275/35ZR18

Is that combination ok for the car?

There's no problem, it drives fine, I just want to ensure that I'm running with the correct size tyre and wheels. Having said that, I did notice a rubbing noise from the front when using hard lock to reverse into my drive today

Advice would be most welcome - Thank you.

It depends on the width of your wheels. Have a look on them, they'll have 8J, 8.5J, 9J etc etc stamped on them somewhere. This is rim width in inches, the tyre is then selected to suit this.

9.5 - 10 rear the rears usually requires 275 or greated. If I had 10" rears, I'd have 285s. Currently have 275 on, on my 9.5" rears. I'd not go any narrower. I did have 265s on the back, but they looked stretched. I don't like the stretched look. Flat tyre walls is what looks best.

I too have 245s at the front and I'm running an 8.5" fr. It used to have 235s on them, but again, had the stretched look to them.

You may get a little rubbing on full lock but if is only on full lock like mine at very slow speed dont worry about it.

I run

19" Rims with Falken FK452 Tyres,

Front Tyres : 235/35/19

Rear Tyres : 265/30/19

I haven't got round to taking any of them off yet, maybe in the next couple of days if the weather doesn't get too cold. :)

Front 8.5"

Rear 9.5"

Sorry if I sound a bit dozy - but how do you know what size they are?

just went outside with a ruler and measured them on drive with two torches width across to be double sure.

Front tyres 8.5"

Rear tyres 9.5"

I'd be going up a size IMHO. 245 and 275 respectively.

Emm, that's what's on it at the moment. :D

I wasn't talking to you, which is why I quoted phantom2080!! :p
