i like the thought of a 2 seater any body got any preferences which one performs better?

you can only get a SWB as an impor so insurance will be higher than that of a LWB uk car, you can also get an import LWB car aswell

Thats a thread on the difference between the door sizes lol

The SWB is lighter and nimbler than the LWB, although its not a massive difference. The LWB has praticallaty advantages with the rear seats.

All UK cars are LWB TT . Imports were available and LWB & SWB. TT and NA.

All LWB's are Targa. Most SWB's are Targa too, although the SWB was also available in Rare Convertible and Slicktop(hardtop roof, not targa) versions.

If you use the search button at the top of the page, you will find plenty of threads on it.

Its not that they are a bad built car, it is just our crappy weather!

Main places are sills and rear arches 'i think'.

Please be aware, if you find rust on the outside there is a high possibilty it is alot worse underneath ;) :(

mine is a uk and the rust is all sorted and repaired, they go on the rear sills, the floor (underneath), front crossmember (radiator support bracket) arches and boot lid underneath the spoiler, mine had the arches, the floor, the sills and the crossmember, they have now all been replaced or repaired, and i will be selling mine after christmas
