driving home minding my own business ..up along side me at the lights on red is mr Irish young guy ( pikey ) in his new red porsche caymen ..puts down his window and says ,,..is it faaarst? , fast enough i retort ..whats de 0 - 60 he says ....about 5 and a bit i say ....lights go green and he is off ...with me half a car length behind but along side him , into the red bit on the tacho grab second and its like he has gone backwards ...straight past him and pull three or four cars in front then into 3rd..next set of lights we stopped..windows down again ..aye roiyt its feckin fasst enough ...had ya in fust gear do !!....its the other four that count i replied ...cant stop …

im new to the forum (couldnt find a newbies thread) anyway hello everyone, my question is would an intake plemum off a 1990 300zx fit a 1994 300zx ? its just i was looking to buy one to polish up as my friend wants a polished one for his car and rather than the car being off the road while i polish it we could just swap them over.

Hi guy'sthought this would be a good idea, i'm stuff as to how to fit it, just checking i'm connecting it up right... the back of the engine, on the passenger side. The IAA valve pipe work connects into a connector do i connect it to the other side of the this connector and do away with the little peice of pipe work that is already there? also where the fook do i mount it???? can seam to see a space big enough for it! any body got one fitted that can put up some pic's so i can get an idea as to where i should mount it. Keep seeing a couple of Z's on out skirts of york, around the A1079 (Hull Rd) 1st one is Green (Similar to Steve300zx) didnt get the reg. 2nd one is a Red H reg one. Kim

I've just bought my Z32 and the steering wheel is pretty knocked about. It's worn and scratched and a bit scabby. Where's the best place to get a replacement, and how much should I look to spend including any necessary adaptor boss? I've seen some on Ebay - are they any good? Cheers, T.

i keep gettin an annoying clicking sound from the dash/climate control panel. it only seems to happen when its raining or damp. the only way i can stop it is turn the heat up to over 30 degrees or turn the demist on. i can think what is causing it but its gettin on me tits now winter is here lol :rant:

Just wondering matey, how have the polished rims on your wheels faired up after being refurbished? any signs of exfoliation yet? waiting to get mine done and was wondering whether is was worth keeping the polished rim or not.

gents, has anyone had a go at respraying your own allow wheels, i was wondering if you could recomend me some paint & laquer i have a set of 4 to do :) any help much appreceated

My speedo has been playing the jumping game @ 40mph then up to 60 etc, have been able to rectify in past by tapping the head with cover off.I've researched posts and thought i'd give resoldering a go, have reconnected, turned ign to acc, the needle jumped to 40 and reset itself,ok i thought, left it cos dark, today needle straight round to 180..ain`t budging,this is before the car`s even started, moved it to zero by hand..nothing,have borrowed a set of clocks in past, all worked ok so not the sensor,will check connections again but methinks tis buggered,any ideas anyone? :mad:

Got my shim kit but no instructions, I take it the shims fit between the inner wing and the upper control arm bracket, but is it just a case of unbolting the bracket or does the upper arm need to be taken off as well ? Also any idea what thickness shims should I start with to correct moderate inner tyre wear? As they are not stamped I will have to measure the thickness, but wanted to put some in before taking the car for a camber check so I have a rough idea of what to add/remove.

Another A1 eyeball. North bound today silver 300zx left the A1 just before Hatfield tunnel. At around 16.30.

Me and a mate a respraying his BMW convertable but we need somewhere dry for one weekend to do it. All the prep work is done and is primered, we only need to do base coat and laquer. Does anyone have or know anyone in or around the essex area that has a lockup or anything the that we can get a car into and move round enough to spray it. Would like power and light but can sort our own out with lamps and a generator. Very happy to pay for the time. Please anyone?

Does anyone know what the correct OHM reading should be please. would like to check on a spare one 'to make sure its ok before it gets fitted. Thanks.

Finished installing my headlight inserts today! Cleaned up the lenses and globes, wiped the rubber seals with silicone cleaner and dropped new silica gel bags in there to keep them nice and dry :cool: Very pleased with the results. Big thanks to Wez for being so patient with me to return the exchange items. I've had 'em for a couple of months now :eek: Just got to get the fuel leak sorted now! ;) CheerZ Steve :)

Could anyone please give any advise, I get a really strong smell when flooring the throttle ?? I also get smoke on start up (blue) i know this is probably turbo seals but i wonder if the two problems are connected ? Grateful for anyone's help. :bow:

One of the bolts that holds the nose panel is broken, the top of the bolt is missing but the bolt is still in there. It was already broken when i got the car. Anyone got any ideas on how this could be removed? Thanks. snx.

Doing my coolant change and cant find the drain bolt on the engine. I know i can just use the bottom rad hose but want to do a full wash out. I have looked in the manual and cant figure out what it is pointing to can someone put up a picture pointing it out for me or describe it in the minutest of detail.

Looks like some fairly heafty green taxes will hit us sooner or later. I wonder what they'll be and if it'll increase the cost of Zed ownership much?

ive got an automatic and sometimes when im driving it cant change into gear and gets stuck at 40 doing 3000revs and again at 60-70, the exhaust starts to pop abit and then it will go into gear. It doesnt happen all the time tho, only when i put my foot down to overtake, stuff like that. Any ideas?

German swedish and french now do parts for japenese cars just thought i let people know there parts are very cheap discs/pads etc.Not sure if the do parts for the zed .

Theres a feature on a blue 400 bhp zed in j tuner with a carl bibby body kit on.
