From one problem to the next. sorted power steering pump now just had the pleasure of running on 5 cylinders for the lastday or so. Used Datascan and found no.3 not working. After sh***ing myself took off throttle cover, messed around with loom and it came back to life. Also noticed cover of Ptu and cas connectors breaking up. when i pull on ptu wires (gently) engine speed changes. I know that this brittle/broken wire thing seems to be a common problem on here. Is there an easy fix or can i get new connectors and/or loom to sort it. Am hoping there must be a solution cos i dont think it's going to survive for much longer. cheers nick

Hi guys, my mate has recently purchased a Supra twin turbo jap import with the six speed manual box, for the six weeks it took to get here all he did was sound off about how much better it was than my Z, he reckons there faster, stronger and far superior to the Z. So imagine the surprise he got when he raced my Z down the local bypass and spent the whole time watching my Z pull away from him in every gear!!! Although I beat him he still reckons the Supra is a superior car because the engine is a lot stronger as standard, surely the engine cant be that much stronger or are they? So what do you guys reckon Supra or 300zx (I know the results wont be biased at all LOL)…

She was slipping like a b@stard this morning in this much cooler air. So I'm after a rough price to supply and fit an uprated clutch for a TT and a couple of leaking breather hoses to be replaced and a general check over. CheerZ Paul

A new postman knocked on my door this morning asking what car I had on the drive. He said he'd seen a Ferrari and a Bentley GT earlier and preferred mine by miles. Made me smile :) although I didn't tell him I couldn't afford to run it and was taking it off the road for winter

Hi all, iv'e got an auto tt and the gearbox is slow on the upchange and sometimes wont change up at all.Its definately a sensor or a/t ecu problem. I replaced the TPS and set it up correctly and made sure i was getting 0.45v closed throttle and 4.0v wide open throttle which it was at the plug harness where the TPS plugs in.However when i test the voltage accross terminals 34 and ground on the a/t ecu i only get 0.35v closed throttle and 2.9v wide open throttle. Now if i cut the wire that goes to terminal 34 just before the ecu connector and test the voltage it is correct,as soon as i re-connect the wire i lose some of the voltage.I thoroughly checked the pins on the …
