I took my car to Zedworld in Tamworth to have a 60k service. I collected the car after having to walk around Tamworth all day in the cold, only to find that when I started her the next day, the new auxiliary belts were slipping. I have now got to travel all the way back to Tamworth just to have them tightened up, costing me another £50 in petrol and other expenses on top (drink etc)! I am NOT happy at all, this really shouldn't happen. I spoke to a guy there, and he spoke to jeff, who first said that he wouldn't re-imburse my expenses, then when I said I wasn't happy with that, came on the phone and said they MIGHT consider it IF it was there fault!! How can replacement b…

Right, since most of the front end of my car is now it bits, I just as well replace the crappy Datsun Cherry 1.3DX horns. I took one off and it only has one connector...being crap with electrics, I'm not sure how to wire back in twin spade connectors to a single spade wire...?? Do I just run one of the to the body of the car with a random wire??

1.Trying to get the front tension rods off but the bolts wont come out as they hit the intercooler piping. Is there anyway that these will come out without having to move all the intercooler pipe work? 2. Trying to do a boost leak and im using a car air compressor, the ones you plug into the cigarette lighter. Anyway it won’t hold any pressure and I can’t hear any leaks from anywhere am I doing something wrong? Boost leak detector is on the intake pipe where the maf was. The car would reach full boost at about 4-4,500 rpm. Could hear the usual whistling noise associated with a boost leak. Thanks Paul

Team, I finally took the plunge and am adding a Ferrari 456gt to my car collection. (The kids legs are getting longer too.!) Trouble is I really want to keep and store the Z and keep it looking as good as possible for as long as possible un-wrapping it for the occasional blast into europe etc. The ferrari will take the garage space that my Z currently lives in so i need some advice and help on the best way to keep a car rust-free etc. (LOL i know i will need the info more for the ferrari than the Z but at least it is Ally and carbon fibre body!) It seems such a minefield for advice about storage with conflicting advice e.g. heat the garage, de-hum…

finding recently that when ive been driving around town my oil pressure gauge is just dropping down sometimes and sitting flat then give it a little bit of gas and the gauge will come back up, sometimes it will stay up or just go back down, constantly checking oil and its not losing any oil. Any ideas what this could be cheers Ryan
