Just got one of these from Graham Foley (cheers Mate :D ) Got a few Q's on fitting and stuff. First one is what's best to clean out the oil cooler? Also what's the best oil for the auto box, i'm thinking it maybe best to clean and replacce the oil in the box too, and lastly, doi block up the oil cooler in the rad or leave it open?? how'd i get all the oil out of it if i leave it open, dontreally want a trail of oil every where? After my car was stood still for a few weeks the speedo has decided to stop working. it sits a 0 then will suddenly flick to 120mph when going about 70mph. it will then "drop" all the way round to 180 when slowing or stopping. It will fire back into live after you exceed about 50mph and go to the 140mph point and will decrease the faster you go and increase (eventually back to 180mph when stopped) the slower you go. If you exceed something like 80-90mph (on private roads) it will fire back into life and show the correct speed and increase and decrease normally. If going at slow speed or stop-start of after turning off and turning on again the needle will go back to being …

Anyway, i own a Alfa Romeo GTV 2.0 T-Spark, its a wonderful car, but nowhere near powerful enough for my needs :D So, i went about looking for a more powerful car, i looked at Supras, but i think the price of them since Fast & The Furious came out is just stupid, so i looked at some Mistubishi GTO's and they were also quite expensive as i couldnt find a standard one. Got myself a plenum to polish , got the throttle body,s off and as expected it,s full of oily gunge , any one used any product that would shift it , if not gonna cap the openings and swill it out with petrol !!! :D

As title :cry: Arr well, it only failed on two rear tyres (I was expecting it anyway) and the near side headlamp aim out (also not able to adjust) So the headlamp will be removed tomorrow for investigation and I've just orded two new Toyo tyres for £152 delivered :D Retest is a week on Friday (MOT expiry a week on Saturday!!) Oh yeah, and a couple of advisories.... Both the rear steering arms with slight play!! Gona have to get it in for further examination.

hello, I'm on contact with a factory in the USA for a carbon crankshaft and here is a question from their technical: I spoke again with my tech and he advised that he does not have the dimensions on the 2+2 manual transmission and we would require a seal to flange measurement from you. Also, he asked if the flange was a 6 bolt for CV joint and the spline count on the trans yoke is 30. Even if I'm a French speaking english, i don't understand what they mean :headvswal :headvswal I do understand for the 6 bolt and answers is yes but the other one...

First trackday in the zed last friday and had a brilliant time!! Went to Oulton Park, and was pretty nervous as it was the first time the car had been 'driven in anger' for about 2 years, and i've only just put it back together after doing cambelt and rest of 60k service as well as upgrading to GTR brakes. After bedding in the new brakes, I went back in to check eveything was ok and, amazingly, it was!! After that went out and went crazy!! im looking aroung for another zx and i have 2 on offer 1 is a tt auto which i have driven and the other is a n/a manual which im thinking of but its miles away just 4 a test drive. the thing is the bloke whos got the n/a manual says it will walk over a tt auto, has anyone had both, whats your opinion??

These EL gauges suck! I have 3 of them, water, oil and boost. When working they look wicked as they match the EL Z dials (which are currently broken (inverter dead)) Grrr The backlight on my boost gauge failed. I changed the power feed and inverter and was still dead. Changed the gauge and is working again but not exactly the same colour as the old one. I thought oh well, they all work now. Glued my pod in place. Now the EL backlight on my water temp gauge has stopped working GRRR! Hopefully it will be the power feed, fuse or inverter. If its the gauge again i will have to rip the pod off the dash! Note to self - dont glue the pod on!…

These two are on the back of the cam shafts. Ones disconnected one has a plug plugged in? This one in on the side plenum support brackets. Neither are connected so I guess I can do away with them. Just wondered what they did? Thanks. Sorry for shit photos. Camera cant do close focus and flash at the same time.
