Little ladies TRD is a writr off. 2 twisted and smapped rods, Damaged crank, 2 bores totaled and even cams damaged. All from hitting a big puddle (well a 13" deep flash flood) Toyota UK want £7000 for a new TRD engine + VAT. So total repair bill around £9000. Hence write off. So I want to import another and don't know who t chase.

Hi everyone. Im new to this site but have owned my 300zx for over a year now, i have done loads to it, the main thing being a full engine change after a so called specialist made a complete arse of skimming the heads, (court case pending). A fault i had was when i dip the clutch the engine stalls, :confused: i thought when i changed the whole engine this would solve it, but alas it has not, any one out there had this problem before? any help would be muchly appreciated. :headvswal Thanks.

I have therefore been looking at importing and came across MRDS who will do the whole thing for you for £500. I can't find any info on there service though so I was just wondering if anyone had heard of them? Any info would be appreciated. Cheers

My drivers side headlight has started filling with water. I've got a good used replacement so I'm going to have a go at swopping them over. just thought i would let you know that i showed my girlfriend your website for the zed and she is going weak at the knees looking at it!! she says, and i quote, "that is the best car i have ever seen in all my life". yes you can tell she is a 16 year old irish girl. they have never seen anything like it before!

Right, my poor Zed over heated due to a little stupid water hose at the back of the engine dying on me. Anyway, I managed to get her back after 3-4 odd hours of just waiting around for her to cool down as I had no way of getting the Z towed back. Sorted out the problems and now the Z just doesnt seem to be as responsive or as fast as it should be. I have yet to do a compression test but that will happen during the weekend. So if anyone knows, what possible damage to the engine could have been done? Also, I've got this funny ticking noise coming from the engine bay when it's idle. What the hell is that about?!

Ok since ive had my zed theres a really annoying rattle in one of the rear speakers, spoils the whole sound. Anyway, want to fit some 6x9's or sommit but just wondered where other people have mounted there's as i cant see a decent place to mount?

pulling my engine soon for its freshen up.got forged pistons,gt525s,555injectors and chip.divorced dump pipes and de cats oh and a front mount.im hoping for around 400 -430rwhp.are there any mods in the engine i can do to get me up to the 450 mark.would polishing the ports in the lower plenum give me any noticeable gains?.

Ok folks need help pretty bad.... Bought a Razo Auto Shifter with the over drive button. However how the f**k do I take off the existing stock auto gear handle ? There are screws in the back which I have undone but the damn thing won't come off? Has anyone done a replacement of this kind ? How hard is it to do this ? I thought this was a piece of pi**. Does anyone know where to get hold of a standard or the indiglo 180 mph clock. I tried through Nissan and they are not worth talking about, still waiting for them to get back to me(person I spoke to originally said "300zx, are you sure it's a nissan") :headvswal The coversion from KPH to MPH was carried out when it was imported but it shows a 110 clock!

Hello need help, just rebuilt my engine new oversized pistons,mains,bigends and all gaskets,checked turbos all ok,running the car in now but has started smoking again just like before (the reason i stripped it down) it has new pcv valves. Not sure if all monifold pipes are back on properly as it was a while between stripping and rebuilding my Z but runs ok tickover is normal and stable. And if no one can help, does anyone want to buy a zx only smokes on tickover lol.

Hello guys! I have z32na 2+2 US spec and now I'd like to have original or aftermarket black speedometer gauge face with km/h iso mph. Do you have it as "leftover" in your garage after changing white / mph faces to your import Z? Do you know a place / shop where to ask complete gauge face set with big km/h to my na? Or just original km/h face. Thanks for your help already! Brgds Mika P.S. There are also km/h in US spec gauge face, but I'd like to have km/h with big numbers. (I'm so old that my eyes start to fail.. :wack: )

Hiya! My dipped headlights are absolutely shocking. Cant see much. I've heard Xenons are the go, but the books says 55watt max. Anyone managed to get theirs brighter with higher wattage? Richie.
