This is for all you minimalists out there. Here is a cheap and very effective mod for your Zed. Remove your red reflector from both side of the rear bumper, smooth off the raised writing/numbers with a very sharp knife, sand, prime, paint and laquer. Do the same to the stainless steel screws and refix. This will give you an un-interupted line to the rear quater and draws your attention to the lines of the car instead of a red blob in the middle of the bumper! I hope someone out there agrees and decides to follow suite. Time for all us "Less is More" modders to stand up and be counted!!! hehe! Acouple of comparrison pics for ya. Andy

Hi all, I hit a divider curb in the middle of the road the other night. Damaged my alloy quite badly and caused my tire to leak :cry: .... so, need some advice. 1. Where can I get it repaired (preferably in London), and what's the rough cost? 2. I've got small bolts inside the alloy so you can undo all the studs, does that mean it's a split rim? If so would that make it easier to repair? 3. How much you reckon the alloys are worth? in current condition and if i get them repaired? Thanks. snx

Hi Guys , I know might get laughed at by posting this but here goes, I have just aquired 1 blitz bov and was wondering (due to expense) can i fit just one or do i def need 2 ? Will that mess things up if i fit 1 and if i can (i doubt it) where would i need to fit it to. Thanks

hi was set on a 99 spec front as it makes the front end look a bit heavier but now Ive got my car and Ive seen the original front in dark metallic red its growing on me whats your thoughts ta chris

i just fit it new avo springs and kyb agx shocks on the back but i didn't put the gaiters on shock...how bad this is? and also the avo spings are 35mm lower but the car sims to be the same in hight for some reason,can it be because you have to leave the car to seatle on the new springs-shock ?cos from yesterday till now the car dropt a bit but still not enough

Hi people, I'm in desperate need of all your help guys and girls. I believe that there is an oil hose in the engine somewhere which is maybe blocked. Basically, a couple of weeks ago, I was out in the Z. All was going fine. Then all of a sudden, it felt as if the car lost power and I watched the turbo guage (stock) which seemed fine and the the oil guage (stock) which showed read 0 when I came to a stop and then rise a little and then go back to 0. So I pulled over straight away and checked the dipstick which showed there was nothing in there. But before getting the car on the road that day I checked the dipstick and the oil was fine. Hi i have reciently purchased some used Tein shocks with springs and i dont know what model they are as the previous owner just knew they were Tein and thats all :cool: They are like the stock struts but green with official Tein stickers and are lower than stock struts and are non adjustable in Height or Damper setting and have non pillow-ball type top mounts. They are obviously an Older model but i have done a search and come up with nothing, only coilover pics or info. Any help here would be apprieciated ie: spring rates/part number/model number in case i need to service them. ;)

Anyone out there when rebuilding an engine ever sleeved it? If so where did you get the sleeves from and what type? My predicament is that the 3sgte is 86mm bore as std, some who have bored out to 86.5 have ended up with crackd blocks. This may be just down to poor mapping at the end of the day, however i'd like to avoid. I'm either going to go for 86.25 pistons, or have sleeve fitted and go with 86 mm. I was just wondering if anyone out there had any experience of using liners on any car, it doesnt look like anybody bothers on the vg30 so i'm presuming you have plenty of wall to tunnel in to.

Been looking at some old threads and was wondering if anyone knew the part numbers for ultraled dash replacement bulbs? And also if they did the replacement bulbs for the side pods. Blue seems to be the most popular colour is this best ?

does anyone know the pressure of the auto fluid line going into the rad cooler,not to be confused with line pressure within box itself :)

Can anyone tell me how to remove the Differential drive flanges, I have looked in the manual but there is no procedure for removal that I can find. The book just says remove them does not say how though tried 3 leg puller but it wont move dont want to break anything. Anybody removed these?.
