Does anyone know how SLICKTOP has his impul lenses tinted black like: I have access to a laser cutter so if i could buy tinted acrylic then i could cut that to shape, otherwise i thought about 5% window tints to cover it, or spray it with niteshades but i don't think it would look that good. Any ideas?

A few of the connectors on my zed engine are needing replaced. Namely the air regulator and both the idle valve connectors. They are cheap in the US at around $6 but shipping is crazy expensive. Z Centre do them but but around £12 a connector which is insane. Are there any other Nissan cars that we can get these same/similar connectors for? I've managed to do this with other cars, but not sure which other Nissans may have what we need. Or can anyone suggest another seller of these? Thanks guys.

The lever will not effectively open the boot, when you pull the lever it just wont unlatch unless you have one person lifting the boost and the other pulling the boot. I guessed that the wire was just not taught enough to pull the latch open but i took apart the lach and but a bolt spacer on the wire so it would act tighter, but it still didn't fix it. Has anyone had this issue and if so how to fix? i did have a look at the lever side but i was not in the position to lift up the carpet to just fix one lever. It's ok i can just use the key to open the boot but not ideal.

pretty sure i know the answer to this but after fitting a pretty much straight through exhaust im getting intermittent blue smoke out of my passenger exhaust im guessing its turbo seal time but it being intermittent seems odd. Always at idle but will be fine for a day then just do it while sitting thanks in advance :)

Hi All, I will be picking up a recent import 300zxTT soonest, I understand it has a great Pioneer multifunction system installed that's worth a few quid, BUT its obviously still in Japanese. Do any the lads know if I can switch this to English instruction's etc and get the sat/nav/DVD player to work in the UK? Any advice would be welcomed, Cheers!

This months COTM is now open for voting in the Competitions sub forum. As I extended the entry period by 5 days I've also extended the voting by 5 days. So the poll won't close until the 5th of November. Next months COTM will still open on the 1st of the month as usual.

Being a bit of a gauge watcher, I have always marveled at just how quick my boost gauge would show positive boost. In fact, it used to be quite difficult to drive her and be below "0" under most conditions. Up until lately she would pull vacuum on over run of -13/14psi and hit +14psi with no trouble at all giving a real smooth and yet powerful response. Of late however, the gauge and performance of the car has suddenly changed. I first noticed that in first and second gear under mild acceleration up to around 4000-5000 rpm, the boost gauge hits the -7psi and starts to bounce, it's only if I hit the accelerator hard to the floor does she get to +14psi but not fo…

I started car up after work and it wasn't running right, put it down to crap in the fuel as was fairly low and drove to petrol station. Opened the lid there to find the cap missing... Now the car ran perfectly in the morning so I think I might have leaned on the lever when opening the boot. I'm thinking during the day some idiot with 3 brain cells saw the lid open and thought it would be funny to take the cap.... It was in a multi story parked next to the door so in clear view of everyone who walked onto that floor. Tried an mx5 cap which fits but doesn't seem to seal so wondering if anyone has a spare to sell?

Just spotted this car on Ebay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1998-Nissan-300-3-0-ZX-Targa-3dr-/231655733171?hash=item35efc1f7b3:g:UboAAOSwgQ9V0Jom supposedly a 1998 NA auto for £4000. I know they are now beginning to creep up in price but I also noticed that the seatbelts are on the doors which means pre 1991. Looks clean though and low mileage if it can be preoven.

I am usually pretty good at working out how people came to a decision. But at what point and with how many beers did someone go hmmmmmm- I reckon.......
