i don't know how much people look at the other thread when I updated some pictures (I think there was only about 4 extra views lol) so I thought I would start A new one for the new pictures, The car is pretty much done now. Needs the black front bumper putting on when it arrives (being sent today), needs the lights that Paul@SWZ is sending to go in the bumper. Then the ECU just needs to be sorted and we are completely done. (Well the log book needs sorting too). Here's the couple of pics Ive been sent

Hi everyone, my names John im new, have just bought a 300zx and am realy loving it, im just so scared it will go wrong cos the engine looks very difficult and expensive. i have a 92 2+2 twin turbo and it has a cat back stainless exhaust system, however my problem is the front half is holey and welded up by my mate at the weekend just to keep the noise down, i want to keep the car up together but without spending too much, basically i want to replace the front half but cheap as poss, i eventually want to de-cat it but think the cats all part of the downpipe too from looking, what is the best way to go about this please, i dont want to buy too exhausts both de cat and cat, …

Hi all, I've got the good old code 34 after a re-build (I know, I should've replaced it whilst the engine was out, live and learn eh?) I'm just asking if anyone has a working one for sale? I think I'll re-locate it to the usual place. I'm a little short of coin at the moment, but just asking... Get a load of this, I rang nissan today, they want 237 quid and 77p, plus VAT!!!! (Sorry, this laptop I'm on doesn't seem to have a pound sign anywhere :-) I'm sure someone at that garage is on the old 'Hi Diddle Diddle' :-) Cheers all........

Hi there Guys, Quick question for you all. I want to replace the standard wheels on my UK TT. What is the reccommended size to go for? Im thinking 18" but am open to suggestions. If anyone can tell me the ideal tyre size all round it would be a great help. Many thanks as usual, Rob :duffer::duffer::duffer::bow:

Hi huys, I've got a 92 jap auto TT. I bought it and have done a full engine re-build, still haven't drove it, but will soon :-) :-) :-) Anyway, the turbo boost gauge isn't working, and there was an after market gauge in the car, but not connected. Also, one of the boost pipes, i think comes from the IC hasi been spliced, as if it was ready for the new gauge, it is bunged up tho. Do you think the stock one has been dis-connected from the dash? (It has got aftermaket dials on it, so I know someone has had the speedo out). Any thoughts'd be nice zedders...... Nice one... Tudor.

Isn't the fuel pressure supposed to be around 35psi at idle? Mine is around 45 psi at idle. Tried unplugging the fuel dampner. The idle changed a bit but the fuel pressure was still 45psi??

A knock sensor has one purpose...to detect knock/pinking which is caused by pre-detonation. It is self monitoring system to protect the internals of the engine. Pinking can be caused by a handful of variables such as incorrect fuel or a ignition angle that is excessively advanced. By replacing the sensor with a resistor that matches the resistance of the knock sensor will erase the fault code stored in the ECU. The engine will not run on safety boost. However, under certain conditions, the ECU will advance the ignition angle excessively, as the knock sensor circuit is effectively open loop, where there is no feedback from the sensor as it has been replaced with a resistor…
