bow down to my photoshop (or rather MS Paint) skillzz!!!! Wings West front bumper (im keeping the fogs though, no ducts), crystal clear front indicators, Veilside 2 sideskirts, quad headlights, headlight panel, Z Centre type 2 bonnet, 5-spoke (not 6-spoke) 19s spaced out a little at the rear, anthracite or gunmetal meshing at the front to match the smoked side repeaters and dark silver alloys, relocated reg plate, black/blue seats and trim. (not wide-arch though, looks like it might have been in the original pic - cant remember!) the look im aiming for is fast road/agressive, but not too overstated, with 450bhp to back it up (which I'm getting closer to ac…

Just taken the Z out for a bit of a blast, whilst I still like the car a lot and it feels as good now as it ever has, it just doesn't seem to give me the same buzz it did when I first got it. I know it's one of those things. Like when you meet a new girl and you're at it like rabbits until it almost becomes one of those things you do to pass the time and release stress. I don't know whether I've had enough of throwing money at it. Maybe I've run out of things to do with it. Maybe it's because the weather is cold and I actually prefer driving it with the roof off. Maybe I fancy something more modern without the squeaks and rattles of an 18 year old sports car. Ma…

Have a knocking noise coming from engine, starts at at about 3200rpm, disappears about 500rpm later. Anyone got any idea what might cause this? It seems loudest from oil pump area. The oil pump is only 2K miles old. Thanks Scott

On the z the rims that came with it the tyre valve aint visable strange alloys I aint seen any like this before ie how the hell would you inflate the tyre etc. They have a screw cap on them where you would expect the valve to be but it is flush to the rim. Do you reckon the valve is under this was not sure if to remove it incase somthing stupid like the tyre deflated prob wont but just thought id ask if any body had similar rims with same fitting. http://img373.imageshack.us/my.php?image=1000119pv5.jpg

I have just taken the rear original spoiler and an aftemarket of the back of my car as it looked awfull. I now have a large indent and gap in the back which i didnt know was there. Does this area have to be filled and shaped or does anyone make a fitting for it? I would rather not have it filled as it will onlyg crack at a later date. Any suggestions are much appreciated.

Just got a used one of these but have read that you need to cut part of the throtle guard thingy on top of the engine to make it fit. Also how hard are they to fit as not sure I can be arsed with it if it's a lot of work as I have so much else to do (never enough time to get things done) so might sell it on if I get a good offer. Anyone fitted one of these ? Don't think it's an original carbing as it does not have the laser etching or plaque but it's a very good replica possibly the powertrix type with double welds as seen in pics few marks but the price was right

This is the only picture i can find of it on the car. I must have deleted all my old pictures... DOH I have raked it out of the garage and it looks a bit dirty. So I have cleaned it as much as I could. Do you all think I should put this back on the car instead of that monsterous thing I currently have?

Has anyone bought from him before or can supply the same conversion kit? 315mm 114.3 x5 rotas should be easy enough to find so I'd want to shop around a bit.

Fitted a new OEM fuel filter today and, in reading from here that I was advised in taking the black plastic pipe out of the inlet port. I've fitted it to the new filter. But just wondering what the reason is for having it? Looks like it's some kind of fuel limiter or even a mini dampener? Is it essential?

I decided to fit my 555's and the JD chipped ECU today and duly got stuck in to stripping the plenum off. No probs at all as Jimmer had recently done a rebuild and everything just flew off without any problems. Removed the fuel rail with the standard injectors in and fitted the new fuel rail containing the 555.s. All back together albeit with a bit of cussing trying to get the passenger side PCV valve pipe back on. A b#st#rd I have to say. Anyway on to the the best bit.....the swapping of the ECU. Now normally on most cars this would be a piece of cake but not on mine. It had previously been fitted with an HKS F-CON which was disconnected recently when the car was overfue…
