My front number plate has had it, when i buy a new one, do i have to drill the holes in??? and where can i get hold of the white plastic screw that hold it, mine both snapped

Oreet peeps, gonna pick ya brains again :-) I took her for the first drive after the re-build, and the speedo isn't working, neither is the trip milage, but I never noticed if the odometer is working. Someone has done a LED conversion on it, and the pods, so I have removed the lot today, and they have made a bit of an abortion of it. Also, as it's an import, there is a KPH to MPH converter fitted (badly) inline with the feed to the speedo. Is this necersary, as the dials have been changed to MPH? Also, the boost gauge is not working either, I can't see anything obvious for that tho... Also, I don't like the leds, the light is too direct, only lights up where the…

I have a chance of swopping my 18 inch grey atecs for some white 9.5x18 et30 rota gtr's, but i wouldnt keep them painted white as my zed is blue and that would look silly:rofl: Can anyone tell me if i will have a problem with this offset/width cheers

Doing my planning for next 6 months with what I'd like to do with my Zed. I love the 99 spec rear spoiler like the one FunkySi has, but have never seen an image of one on a wide bodied SWB Zed. Question is, has anybody? If you have do the lines look right with it. Any image would be much appreciated. Hi guys Just got the Zed with a new secondhand gearbox back from Zed World, Jeff and Jamie are wicked, very pleased; however I have just got some tyres priced up, and almost had a heart attack, I am running 265/30/19's on the rear and 235/35's on the front, and tyres are like £200 bucks each for cheapies buget brand stuff, I am convinced that I can get a 18' wheel and tyre package for that! So what wheel and sizes are people running, and avarage cost of tyres?

My 300 will refuse to start, it turns but wont fire up. I removed the fuel pump fuse and cranked it over in case the the engine was fludded put the fuse back in and it seemed to make no difference apart from I could hear a short buzzing sound when i turned the key but still would not start. It feels like it out of fuel but the pump is still buzzing????????

Hi Finally Got my new dump valves fitted tonight:D Sound awesome when they go off:hyper: Anyways, this has never happened but thought it was coming. When the car was left ticking over itself it seemed to sound like it was ready to stall on itself, but would kick into life. Then when driving it tonight the car cut out on me when i stopped at traffic lights. Was told by my mate who was in the car to have my idle control valve checked first then my leads and distrubutor cap. Was wondering if this is true and if anyone else has had this problem. Also if this is to be done what would it take to do it? be put in a garage? would it be expensive? Chee…

installed my sound system today, was sounding loverly, then about 10 mins later mt subwoofer just stopped working? didnt go bacng or nothing? nor did any wires short out or nothing? tried another speaker in place of it and works fine, so not the amp or wiring? can i check if the sub is ruined?

When running about 20 - 25 psi, what is the recommended gap on the spark plugs?

Also, how do I check them and how do I clean them up? I am running rich. Second question: Is the engine coolant bottle on the left at the front supposed to spew coolant all over the floor when you top it up (from somewhere about halfway down the bottle), or does mine have a crack or hole, i.e. is it supposed to be sealed? There doesn't seem to be any cooling problem and no coolant seems to be lost. PS - one other thing, the dipstick in the coolant bottle has suddenly started developing a black smudge at the bottom. I thought about possible blown gasket but that doesn't seem to be the case and there is no engine warning light. Thanks.

Hi guys. Got a little question for anyone. Does anyone know if Skyline GTR R33 Front seats will bolt directly into a SWB 1990 ZED?:confused: I know they wil fit directly into a S14 200sx but not sure with a zed. Does any one know? Thanks Guys and Girls.

Hi Can anyone give me some advice about my much lover z32 fairlady? The cylinder head gasket has gone and I cant find any were to get it fix in the north east region. I would be greatfull if someone could recomend a garage that will repair it. Craig

Hello Folks Im guessing this will get a good few people reading it because of the title.lol. But Anyways...... When driving the car, when the engine is cold, i have found that if sitting at around 40mph in 4th gear and allow the car to slow down itself to just under 30 it starts chugging, as if theres not enough fuel getting through or something. Not to sure of the problem, just wondering if any of you guys can help? Cheers Craig

Firstly, it seems on of the wires at the dett sensor conx is well not in the clip ??? i'm sure i read somewhere that this is normal????? secondly, changed my plugs to 11b now the ones that came out turned out to be for a GTO and have a much shorter thread travel, is this gonna have caused damage as the ignition will take place higher up near the valve seats??? 3rd, whats the best way to get on the top bolts to the down pipe on the drivers side, one is not fully in, ive tries from the top of the engine with various extentions ans so forth but no joy. 4th, is it possible to release the wires from the coil pack conx as i have six new ones, and i dont really wa…

i have a 1990 zx tt, after it has been in the garage for a year, i noticed vibration everytime i take off, also the suspention control unit inside the car does not respond to touring or sport mode, does this mean the suspention is bad and if so any recomendation to what brand of shocks to use

Hey all, I bought my lovely Zed in a bad way, some fool tried to do stuff to it and ballsed it up. I got it with only the exhaust down pipes and back boxes, no mid-section, but it came with a de-cat pipe. But, there are two cables under the middle of the car that have been cut, that I think were gas sensors going to the cat? And when I drive it and give her a few revs, a warning light flickers on and off on the dash, the red light looks like a cat with 3 heat wave lines coming from the top of it, what does this light mean? It could be possible that the cables are shorting out, as they have been cut very sloppily, I'll sort that tomorrow. Are these essential things that ne…
