my drivers side headlight doesnt come on full beam when i first turn them on, after around 10 mins of driving it comes on! any ideas? its one thing after another!!!!!!!:headvswal

See a Black Zed parked up most nights and mornings, anyone on here? If no response I will leave a site card on the window?

Can I leave my car connected to a mains trickle charger while it's in my garage over the next month or so and do I have to disconnect the battery from the car?

Well I have had to wait long enough and had the joy of collecting my new 300zx today, here are some pics :dance:

First one was being washed near by Sheffield Football ground (Y) Second one was parked (saw it a few times) near cathedral road/mill lane area in cardiff looking good with the SMZ wheels on it and nice exhausts (Y)

Wondering if anyone has replaced hoses that run to the rear of the 300, advanced corrosion requires them to be replaced and if so any tips or where I might get some advice? Thanks JMC

hey everyone I´ve trawled the archives and used the search option but I´m still uncertain: Which is the best diff and manual gear box oil for the Z ...Readline MT90 , or I´m sure I read something a while ago about "liquid purple" or something like that. your help is as always greatly appreciated :) Maz

Hi Folks, Right, im off up the country tomorrow (Ireland) to hopefully buy my first 300zx TT, its 1989 so I believe its one of the first models. The lad who is selling it says details as follows: 1989 just cleared from Uk with full MOT ( how detailed is your MOT) 140kms on the clock (as it was originally jap) Top End rebuild 3500kms ago? Just wondered if anyone knows whether or not applying Iron Phosphate to the inside of a chassis would prevent it from rusting from the inside-out? Some guy from Leeds University kept mentioning it at the Classic Motor Show last weekend. Cheers, Dave

Hiya peeps, my speedo ain't working, so I'm guessing it's gonna be the speed sensor... It's an auto, could anyone tell me, or more specifically post a picture of the speed sensor so I can find it? (many thanks :-) I have heard that it is removable without major work, but from what I have looked at, nothing is, so a point in the right direction would be very helpful..... Hi 300 lovers. ive just got a replacement engine for my car and im looking for silicone hoses to put on,wheres the best place.Plus ive seen some manifolds on ebay for a n/a which i have by the way,from a place called 2fast2cool,any comments on this shop as ive not seen them b4 :confused:

went out for a spin lastnight on my private test track :cool: someone was right up my arse behind the round about so i floored it but the damn thing was still there right up to 100 then stopped chasing me, im intrested to know what it could have been, have jd chip, 1 bar boost, hybrid turbos, zorst, filter ect say bout 380 bhp so what was it an evo maybe, really wanted him to follow me over 100 as i would have left him im sure any ideas?? p.s it was dark so i couldnt see behind me

Has anybody got an electric fan fitted to there zed? if so is it thermostatic and what type and wheres the best place to buy them? Only reason i ask is because my switch has just stopped working and i want to upgrade it to something with a better design as i found out today mine is a thermostatic type with a copper sensor (cant remember what brand) it was jammed in a rad hose and also leaks coolant slightly but it did the job up until now:rofl:

I heard/read/imagined somewhere than the Viper wings are wider (stick out further) than the stock wings ? Anyone know if thats correct and if so, by how much ?

Good evening, Just had the importer ring and say that the car has been registered and that I can collect her tomorrow...... It is a nice 40 mile drive on the way back with a combination of Motorways, A and B roads.

I want to make the Z lighter, with the bonnet only marginaly heavier than a C/F one i was thinking of changing the wings and bootlid to something else. Does anyone know of any options?

Hey all Had my first opportunity to stretch the legs on the beast and its absolutely awesome. Its been a long time since I have had a grin quite so big behind the wheel of a car. The mapping has dome wonders. Its is smooth as silk both in the power and on the road although the suspension could be a little softer. I'm hoping it will compensate for it on the track. Booked half a day at Bedford on Saturday the 29th if anyone else is interested. Its a novice day but thats just fine, I just wanted the opportunity to be able to throw it around and open it up a bit to see how it handles and goes. :dance:

hey guys ! well the zed is almost ready to rock after months of turmoil its had new piston and rings, new timing belt, new water pump head gaskets etc .....how ever i have a pipe missing on the right hand side of the balance bar, looks like a small breather but not sure where it goes! any ideas cheers

can anyone tell me what the difference is in the doors for the lwb and the swb versions please and if it is length what are they please? thanks in advance :bow:
