During recent discussions The Committee has decided that the club should adopt a formal policy for members wishing to post threads, appealing for funds etc. on behalf of charitable causes. Whilst we admire and respect those people involved in fund raising for charities and good causes, we are also mindful that many of our members might be finding it difficult themselves; coping with the rising costs of living, falling wages, redundancy etc. Consequently we believe that it may sometimes be inappropriate to play on the sympathies and goodwill of our membership.
