Due to time constraints I'm handing in my notice as Treasurer. I've been promoted at work which means that I'm very rarely at my desk anymore and frequently travelling between sites, therefore I can't allocate the time I used to in doing the Treasurer's duties. From getting up at 5:30am to start work, I rarely see the good side of 8pm before I've finished for the day and I'd like to spend time with my partner without interruption! :D We no longer have many free weekends and due to more time being taken up with work, we rarely get the opportunity to spend time together. Plus which, the housework is suffering!! It's a decision that I've been thinking of making for s…

Andy Pingram (AndyP) was the only person to put himself forward for the position of Club Treasurer before nominations closed on the 18th August. As the Club needs a Treasurer to take over from Ajay (who is standing down) the Committee has asked Andy to take on the role until the next AGM and Committee elections. Andy has accepted and is now the Club's Treasurer. Congratulations to Andy in his new role! The 300ZX.CO.UK Club Committee

Hello everyone, As you can see our trader section has grown over the last few months, since Baggins stepped down I do feel I could do with a couple of people to help me out with this. This would include to help me mod the trader, and for sale sections. Dealing with complaints from both members and traders, Bringing on possible new traders and to come up with a few more ideas with trader issues. If anyone is willing to help me out can you please add your name below. Many thanks MAC.

As myself and Stu (SMW1) now have different jobs we need two people to take over these regional roles. At the AGM in Billing these roles were highlighted as being very important to take the club forward. These persons would be expected to arrange at least one event every 3 months, as well as working with myself in arranging national events. Please put your names down if your interested. Many thanks Mike

Can we have nominations, please, for this important Club position. Clearly offence is being caused because the politburo can't keep track of who is speaking to who and which set of in-jokes belong to which in-crowd. I am sure they are very sorry about this. Me, I can't hear myself think over the noise of clashing egos :slap: and so I would be grateful for a club "Mary Poppins" to come and help the little darlings. Anyway, I wouldn't join any clique that would have me as a member

One of the stated aims for the 300ZX.CO.UK Club since it was started in 2003 has been to get as many subscribed traders as possible to participate with the club so we can get benefits for both the club and our subscribed members. We now have fourteen selected traders each supplying a broad range of goods and services through the Club’s forum at competitive prices. These traders support the club financially and are well known and respected in the Japanese car community. The Club takes care to ensure that traders act responsibly to give the best service to our members at all times. This setup is in contrast to the approach other clubs have tried with ad-hoc and free for all…

With Mark Hanley (Topless) standing down as Club Secretary the Club needs to find a replacement. Hi All, We have progressed through our first year of becoming a club and so we are approaching the membership to see what you want to do? In this first year we have done most of the hard work and assembled the chassis, mechanics and bodywork together, so that we have an up and running club. We now have the fine tuning to do and the fun part, driving it! Basically the committee are approaching the members, to ask are you happy with the committee as a whole and would like to see them carry on managing the club for the next 12 months? Or do you want voting to take place for each committee member? This poll will close in 30 days and this poll is confi…

From here I will hand this over to the candidates, Herman Munster for Membership Secretary, Kirbz for National Events Organiser, and Jock for both, if they want to say something about why they should do these jobs. Their candidacy was discussed in this thread. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=33202

Hi All, With the growth of the club and each of our roles becoming busier myself and Ajay have decided to spread our workload! What we need are a couple of people to fill the postions of National events sec and membership sec! With the National events sec, you would be expected to facilitate the clubs representation at the major national events, e.g. Billing, Trax, Japfest and others, that the members feel we need to honour with our presence! With the membership secretary, this would involve activation of membership accounts, liasing with non-members and members, to promote membership of the club and distribution of membership packs/goods! If you …

Hi, Well it is time to get the ideas rolling about what we want/need for Billing next year! I take it that everyone is in favour of a Marque! I presume we are going to hire one to start with unless some kind soul has a good one to lend us? We will obviously need desks/chairs along with it. I think Joining forms for new members, somebody there to guide them through the recruitment process? When we get a comprehensive buying guide produced we could print copies, and give it to endless number of people who come up saying I have always want to buy one of these! Maybe a photo log of members who are present, their Forum Names and their real names, …
