Hi All, After having some discussions with the other Committee members regarding the current Public Forums it has been decided to open the club up fully to the public ! What this means exactly is that from now on you no longer have to register to read any of the threads within the Public Section of the Forums. :cool2: When viewing the forums without having to log in these users will simply show as guest. These users will also only have read only permissions and they will still have to register to take part in any discussions. We hope this will generate new interest in the club and we expect the search engines should start to catalogue our …

Hi everyone! Following a recent thread regarding motorsport and the current REO arrangements, the committee has listened to your suggestions and concluded that having a MEO would indeed be a good idea. Therefore I'd like to announce that Noz (Noel) has stepped up to fill the position of Motorsport Events Organizer and the committee has given their backing for him to begin with immediate effect. Since our AGM at last year's JAE, the committee has been reviewing the club's policy on the issue of permanent bans to errant members. Having carefully considered the policy, we are united in the opinion that the notion of a permanet ban from the club is an absolute last resort; and one course of action reserved for when nothing else is appropriate in the circumstances. Hence we have decided to retain the notion of a permanent ban where the action is in the best interests of the club and its membership; as there are already finite bans in place with fixed terms - eg. of 1 week, 1 month, 1 year etc etc. However we have all agreed that even if a permanent ban has …
