So after a few discussions last week and the suggestions of adding a Tagging system it was added late on Friday night. The tagging system was just a means to tag another user in your post by using there name as follows : @JaiKai; That would then trigger a notification and email to that member to alert them to the fact. Problem was it didn't work properly and it somehow overwritten default email settings for everyone which triggered an email notification on nearly every post that was made that the member took part in or had read since it was installed. As (I think) everyone knows by now, we have reviewed the whole permanent ban system to give people served with lifetime bans the chance to have their ban reconsidered by the committee; after 12 months. Following the announcement, Funky Si contacted me a few days ago with regards to his ban; and I am pleased to announce that the committee has approved his return to the forum. Hi All, After having some discussions with the other Committee members regarding the current Public Forums it has been decided to open the club up fully to the public ! What this means exactly is that from now on you no longer have to register to read any of the threads within the Public Section of the Forums. :cool2: When viewing the forums without having to log in these users will simply show as guest. These users will also only have read only permissions and they will still have to register to take part in any discussions. We hope this will generate new interest in the club and we expect the search engines should start to catalogue our …

Following a recent thread regarding motorsport and the current REO arrangements, the committee has listened to your suggestions and concluded that having a MEO would indeed be a good idea.
