Hi all, So i took the step and upgraded the clubs site last night to Invision Community 5. Unfortunately we have lost few plugins along the way :( The biggest one is the classified section which was a plugin developed by 'InvisionHQ', for the moment this is incompatible with version 5. I'll keep an eye on the developers website for the moment and hopefully we will get an update. For the moment i will create a new Classifieds section like we used to use all those years ago. Club Photo Competitions, Just after i got this up and running we have lost this, but i plan to stat using the inbuild gallery for this so lets see how that goes. For anyone keen to test new ideas - like me.. Try this one :- At the bottom of the page, click the dropdown menu for theme and then select '300ZX Owners Club - Vertical' This should change the club theme to a Vertical Layout.

The site may be offline for a bit tonight from 8PM. This is to update and upgrade the system software to version 5. As this is a major upgrade we will gain a lot more features and the site will be more fluid and responsive. But we may loose some of the old incompatible features, i'll know shortly to be sure. For the moment please be patient and dont worry about the design as we will likely have to redo the theme over the next few days,

I regretfully announce that our club's Event's Organiser, Tom (AKA TheRealNips), is stepping down from the role with immediate effect due to personal circumstances. Tom has done a great job over the last two years, organising various events and club meets, and he will be sorely missed in this role. So on behalf of the club, I invite you all to thank Tom for all his hard work and efforts. Especially the key ones which, for me at least, are the club's AGM, Beaulieu and of course the NEC Show in November. Just seen this - I grew up watching the Big Man both as a shot-putter and then contesting the World's Strongest Man every year..... Geoff Capes was a great athlete and a gentleman. RIP sir 😞

Good day folks, I am pleased to announce that The Club has once again been accepted to exhibit at the NEC Classic Motor Show this November. Classic Motor Show | The UK's Premier Classic Motor Event (necclassicmotorshow.com) It runs from Friday 8th November to Sunday 10th November..... Our stand is in hall 4 - number 4-595 - coincidentally, the same as last year! It's 6m x 12m, so we can accommodate 4 cars comfortably; the exact plans will be determined nearer the time. But for now, I am looking for volunteers to exhibit. It's always a great show and you'll get to have your car on display to thousands of visitors - but it's a full-on weekend. You have t…

I see that today would have been the late Mr.F (AKA Mike Feeney)'s birthday, so ask you to join me in wishing him a posthumous "Happy Birthday!" Mike was a great guy and a hugely respected member of the whole Z/ZX community; both here and in the Zed Club. He was always there to help fellow Z/ZX owners and remains to this day, the single best resource for Z/ZX parts in the UK. No-one has managed to fill the void he left. So Happy Birthday - and RIP sir.... We remember you fondly and still miss you today 😞
