After being diagnosed with the Big C, James Whale passed away today... I fondly remember his Friday night TV show in the late 1980sand early 1990s - often outspoken, very un-PC, definitely controversial, but nonetheless extremely entertaining...... RIP James, there are not many left like him nowadays.

Another sad loss to the world of cinema and TV..... Whilst famous for Dr Kildare, I remember him the best for his role in The Three Musketeers - but also loved The Count of Monte Christo and Shogun. RIP sir.
