Nearly 5 years to the day since I joined this forum as a trader (before I even became an owner, no less), it's time for me to hand in my pass and become a regular Subscribed member instead. Over the years, interest in my trade on here has declined to the point where it sadly doesn't make financial sense for me to trade here. I think that as more and more owners start to see these cars as investments rather than toys, and lean more towards standard styling as a result of that, enquiries have pretty much tailed off into nothingness. Good evening all, I'm sure we are all aware of Tom's sad experience at LA Autos by now; and everyone who has read his thread, knows that we gave Lee Dent until 5pm this evening to respond to the allegations against him - either by e-mail or in the open on the forum. It is with regret I have to announce, that Lee has not responded. In the absence of a reply - and in the face of further allegations form other members - the committee has reached its unanimous decision on what to do regarding Lee's future in the club. 'Evening all.... .....As you know, we have managed to secure a last-minute, small, stand at this year's NEC Classic Car Show. Small being the operative word; we just have space for two cars! Following my thread asking for volunteers to exhibit, I now ask for you to please cast your votes for which cars should represent the club at this major, international, event in the classic car calendar! Congratulations Znut/ Bri on being made an Honorary Member for long service to the club as a Moderator and Committee member. In the face of action he stood firm against those who would bring us down and in Committee he did an excellent job with our traders. Very few members get this bestowed on them so he is now a member of the elite. Well done Bri and your advice is still needed by us all mate.:clap:
