General Discussions - Non 300ZX

Im sure im opening up for some abuse, but my mrs wants an mx5, 1.6 or 1.8, around the 4k - 5k mark. I dont know anything about them to be honest (not my kinda car.. sure people understand.) but was just wondering if anyone has any advice for buying (or not) and what to look for. Thanks all

GOOD NEWS: As some will know I got my new wheels and the tyres were a bit on the big side? F:245/45/18 - R@275/40/18. the space between the outer edge and the inside of the arch was about 5mm at the most. I have had some Dunlop SP's fitted now F:235/40/18 - R:265/35/18. Well what a bad week and a bit i've had. Recently got a new Z TT car's a good 'un, a week later my clutch hose goes (directly before i get a puncture) so i get that temporarily fixed at a hydraulics place (cut was in middle of pipe to they cut it and joined it with 2 fixings) so i bleed the clutch, start it up, put it into gear and bearing in mind the clutch is still firmly on the floor the car decides to move forward, can't get it out of gear and the brakes didn't work so i hit a pole in my driveway, bugger my bumper, headlight and foglight ... i'm gutted, well not really.. gives me an excuse to get an aftermarket bumper so if anyone has one for sale (or even a s…

Im trying to connect my new pc to my TV ( i had my old PC connected Via an RCA lead to the aux input rca jacks on the TV and the pc via 3 rca jacks 2 for sound and 1 for composite video). i the n used to go into display settings, properties and then switch the mode to moniter split and another source. This was on Windows 98se Now running XP and ill be fooked if i can make it work what ever i do. :headvswal Im not a computer dummy but FFS im stuffed ? Any help would be good. Well i just had a look under my car as i've got clutch hydraulic probs and i noticed i've got Tanabe Sustec Dampers all round.. just wondering if anyone has these or knows how they compare to other makes? heard of Tanabe making exhausts before but not suspension. handling seems excellent though so i ain't complaining!

Just (Finally!) managed to get hold of an xbox 360, and im lookin at getting it all linked up wirelessly with my windows xp machine (non media center), HD tv and my wanadoo wireless broadband. Well, i got a phonecall from my solicitor this morning regarding a tomogram (ancient CT scan) i had about 4 months ago. Not long after the tomogram my surgeon asked me to go and see him for a meeting, so obviously i did, he explained to me then that the bone grafts hadnt done what they were supposed to of and knitted the bones together, but he said that another larger bone graft would work (after taking most of the old bone out again). Needless to say, i was unhappy about this, but hey, if he says it can be done then so be it.
