Just make sure you are running the correct drivers for the graphics card.

 Dont understand ? The drivers where installed on PC from factory for this card. The drivers have been updated 2 days ago so there upto date and correct ?

It can be a b*gger to get multiple screens working. I used to commonly have problems doing it for people. Only advice I can give is keep playing with the settings and reboot reguarly. I found it never seemed to work logically.

Its strange, on my old PC with windows 98se it was a doddle, No problems at all, All new user friendly XP and im fooked ! :(

Ive run out of ideas. :headvswal

you should have a catalyst control panel or the ati symbol in your lower right icon strip next to the time, if you open that up and goto the properties there are settings in there for you to select tv output also it may not be switched to output from the s video port.

I have just recently purchased "ADS Tech Video Xpress" from PC World. It is half price at the moment £24.95. it come with all the software and you can use it via scart or AUV it works fine and is really easy too. I use it to put recorded Sky plus programs and movies onto the hard drive and then onto DVD. You can real time record and even rip from a DVD machine or the TV. IMO. Spot on and quite cheap no need for a TV card or any other PCI connection as it connects via USB. its all in the box. You will need a Scart junction box though.

Viniboy does the card have the AC3 encoding when you transfer from the skybox to the pc, as was thinking about getting one myself. cheers

That icon is not there. However you can get to that screen by right clicking on desktop and going into your Moniter/ tv options that way. all the ATI icons and drivers etc are there. Ive managed to force the computer to see the TV but now it still wont linkup all its done is highlight the little tv symbol nect to the moniter one so it looks like i can switch between the 2. But when i try it does nothing .... ARghhhhhhhhhhhhh

Hmm the idea is good but i bought this PC as it was all ready to go (Allegedly ?) so i dont want to buy any more hardware as its not really required ! Still i could always ring the manufacturer up at a £1 per minute !!

Does your graphics card have "S Video plug" if so use that its much better and should work ok, just select in your display settings to use TV not your monitor ?

Its got S Video and Tv card, I was using my original lead ie RCA jacks PC end and Scart Tv end as it was a fooking huge expensive lead that runs hidden from the "Dinnig room" to the Lounge .
