Sport Car Compact Magazine has a relatively extensive tuning guide/review on its website. http://www.sportcompactcarweb.com/projectcars/ It seems to be missing some section. Part 1,2,8,9,10,11,12,13,14 3,4,5,6,7,15 are there Part III: Six-piston AP Racing Brakes Part IV: Building the Ultimate Z Engine Part V: Suspension Part VI: Cooling System Part VII: Building the Ultimate Z engine, Part 2 Part XV: Keeping up with state of the art Dont suppose anybody has links to the missing sections ?

I have been looking to fit an FMIC for a while now but have no evidence that they are any better than a set of bigger side mount jobos. Apart from looking the part, do they make all that much differance to a standard setup? If so are there any to go for & any to avoid as i'v seen them range from cheap to expensive. Any input from someone that has done this change will be much appreciated. ;)

Finally got my boot install complete. :hyper: :hyper: Not the best photos but it will give you some idea of what it looks like. I have 2 x 8" Focal subs built into the corners and 1 x 10" Genesis sub built in under the parcel blind. The 2 x Genesis amps are now in the spare wheel well covered by a diamond shaped glass cover, etched with 300ZX logo. The area around the amps is also lit with 2 x green neon lights. Looks better in the dark. BTW, it sounds absolutley awesome.

I'm looking to upgrade my current network to gigabit. I had a dig around the net and can only seem to find 1 router available with gigabit ports, the D-Link DGL-4300. http://games.dlink.com/products/?pid=370&sec=4 D-Link also do the DGL-4100 without wireless, but does anyone else do a gigabit router? I can find millions of switches, but no routers other than these. Basically i want neat and simple i.e. cable modem --> gigabit router --> pc's X4 Thanks in advance all you IT guys :p

Drove to work this morning (and every other) at 7ish. I was having to wear more clothes than I did in the arctic at -40 degrees! :headvswal no joke. Wish I hadn't been lazy in the summer and not bothered to fit the new matrix! Its actually warmer to drive with the windows down because if I clear the windscreen with the fan it blows cold air onto my feet and freezes them!

ok people, I realise that my avatar pic kinda points to the fact that I'm a police officer! In all honesty I really don't wanna be disliked because of what I do because I think I make a difference. There are also certain other members on the forum that, I think feel the same, and at the end of the day we're here because we try to do a good job, yet I can sympathise with people that feel differently, because they may have been treated unfairly. Reading through the posts, I can see that most of the 'regular' members are sensible, law abiding citizens. All I ask is that we (the police) are given a fair chance. I also realise that no actual inference has been…

Looks like the "Do-gooders" are about to shaft Britain once and for all. :xxx: The government were recently blaming bad parenting for the ASBO society we have today. I agree, a lot of it is to do with bad parenting but if I thought I wasn't gonna get slapped for doing wrong by MY OWN PARENTS then, as a kid, I would have run riot FFS. Looks like we'll have to resort to saying "Dear Johnny, please don't set fire to our house - there's a good boy". They are a contradiction in terms. http://www.ivillage.co.uk/parenting/community/pracad/articles/0,,598834_608367,00.html

Another project on the go is building a Windows Media Center PC. I've done quite a lot of reaserch into what would work well together, and generally how to go about it, but I'm yet to decide on which case to use. My current choises are... The AHANIX D.Vine D5 Or the Thermaltake Mozart VC4001SNS Thermaltake's Mozart is cheaper, and comes complete with the preinstalled VFD panel, whereas the D.Vine is more expensive and the VFD panel is extra. The spec for the rest of it should be............ Intel Pentium 4, 3.4 Gb processor, ASUS P5GD1 motherboard Kingston 1 Gb DDR ram memory, Seagate Barracuda 300Gb hard drive, Soundblaster Audigy 4 sound car…
