I`ve got a zed, My dad now has a zed. But now my mums looking at a zed... :eek: Its all too much..... :headvswal Heeeeelllllllllllllllllppppp. :D

It's only been a week but i'm looking out the window at her now, the moonlight is casting a beautiful light onto her bonnet. She calls to me....but it's not to be... It's the heater matrix you see, i can't see out of the FOOKING WINDOWS BECAUSE OF THIS OILY FOG :rant: ........can't believe a heater can stop me enjoying my favourite thing...cruel :(

im wanting a fibreglass fan shroud does anyone know where i can get one? ive seen a website in US that does them but they only do them to order and i dont fancy getting one from over there. i know smithy does the carbon fibre one but im planning on painting it :( if not does anyone have any tips on making one. cheers si

just say u wanted to up the boost on your stock tubs to the max that they could do safely, this would totally over max your stock injectors, so what im asking is, could you just put in bigger injectors so that there not maxed out thx just wanted to know, dont know how the injector/airflow works.

Decided to give the z a run to the garage and back to put some fuel in and see if she drove ok. Well fook me if I couldn't even back out the garage cos' the B*****d clutch aint clearing again! :rant: After pumping it like a maniac I just managed to snick reverse and away we went!-second noticeable thing-the engine runs like a sack o' shite(needs setting up) but on the whole it drove well and sounds like thunder! Got her back home and stuck it back on the lift to investigate and found fluid leaking out the p/rod boot!-so that's fooked before I start :headvswal Need a TT Slave cylinder-like yesterday! :o :(

Just a big thanks to them for sorting my car out so effectivly today that it needs a new clutch, as the increase in power for just £150 squid +vat and an hour and a halfs work is too much for my current one! Will defo be back, also because its the first place I have taken my car that hasnt charged more than the initial quote for the work, and they did the work straight away and properly. :bow:

Just came into my head this morning and thought it'd be a good idea to post it on here. Couple of things I learnt from my time at Holset. 1) The majority of damage to the bearings and shaft of a turbo occurs within the first few seconds of cold start. We all know that if we leave the zed standing for a week we get the tatatatatat from the hydraulic lifters. In the same way every time you turn off your engine oil drains away from the bearing housing of the turbocharger and the oil feed. If you have left your car standing for a while and even if you have not, its a good idea to crank your engine for a few seconds before starting it. This builds oil pressure and en…

Another thanks thread from me as he has basically saved me from blowing my engine up. After receiving advice from him to upgrade to a suitable ECU chip he said I should do so. After taking it apart I found that it had a "Data Systems - Hiper" chip. This has been reported previously as only suitable for Jap cars running 100 ron fuel.
