Was in an accident last year (not in the Z luckily!) where I was doing about 70 up a long clear fast A road following 2 other cars when the one at the front slowed down and looked to be turning left so I overtook the car in front. Unfortunately the tosser was actually doing a U turn in the road and using the left side road to swing round without stopping or looking behind him to see 2 cars coming up fast. He wasn't on the right of the lane and wasn't indicating. I tried to drive around him but hit him and both cars were badly smashed up and written off but somehow nobody was hurt. There was no road to turn right into, only a house on the side of the road with …

Evening  I'm trying to connect up a new External DVD writer to my pc and having problems. I bought a PCI Card with slots for a firewire connection, which the DVD writer uses. The Japlish instructions say if using IEEE1394 and XP then the drive is plug and play and the drivers CD is only needed if using a USB2.0 cable. In "my computer" I get the icon "DVD-RAM Drive (F: )" when plugging it in, and it appears on my hardware list in the system folder in control panel, but the icon changes to CD Drive (F: ) within a few seconds. When I double click on it an error message box says "F: is not accessible. Incorrect function" I can eject the DV…

Went over to Skelmersdale yesterday and had a custom made Blueflame Zorst fitted with 6x4 tips. Good people to deal with and a big thanks to Ian for his help and work on this. The new Zorst sounds great and the car seems to go much better, although difficult to tell as the weather was sh1te, hence the colour of it.

Did everyone see that Top Gear when Clarkson slated Z cars? I noticed they didn't have a 300zx in the studio. This led me to thinking, maybe he makes an exception for the daddy Z? Also he seemed to be pretty keen on the 300 when it butchered the 350z in the old vs new drag race show, Shouting "twin turbo" as it pulled away. Does anyone know his true opinion or ever seen him review one in a car show? By the way I think he is a legend, any different opinions?

Is he still a trader on here???? if so are there any rules protecting the members that buy from him, I know theres plenty of rules about what traders can and cant sell but what about if the trader doesnt replace faulty items after being given plenty and I mean plenty of chances to sort the problem. Alternatively anyone want to buy a completely useless HID kit for their car, it makes a very nice £200 ornament for the shelf in your garage, just dont ask it to light the road as it is faulty. :headvswal

Wow what a difference that makes!! even though I was not used to the Z as I have not driven it for over a month and stalled it at the lights :wack: LOL the pulley really does make a real difference, one thing I notice is I dont have to put my foot so far down on the go pedal for the revs to increase  But I will give it another go in the daylight tommorow as I have to wear the new tyres in, but soon I can drive it again like it's meant to be driven
