took my mirrors off today for a good clean, when they fold i can see all the crap in the joints and there usually loads of crap behind the glass of the mirror. first i removed the door card and then the mirror bolt cover, removed the 3 bolts holding the whole mirror assembly on didnt take long to get off but had to unscrew the door speaker plate to pull the cable through. When i got it in i had to also remove the cables from the cable holder, i took pics of the locations so i can put back in correct order. undid the 3 screws under the mirror and seperated the two pieces, then firmly pulled glass away from mirror backing. there are 4 clips that hold the mirr…

Do you remember that film with Dudley Moore where he was an advertising agent? I can't remember what the film was called but I do remember one advert that he did - "Volvo, they're boxy but they're good." In the same vain, here's a few new ones:- And my favourite...

Travelled from Dundee to the south west yesterday to collect a set of Leather seats for his car, and very helpfully collected a set of Series 2 seats from another member on his way and bought them down to me. Poor bloke had been driving since 9am when he arrived at mine 10pm last night, and was heading back home on a non-stop drive. Hope you won your bet bud !

  14. I have noticed this a lot recently while being stuck behind a car at traffic lights, that the driver appears to be waiting for a different shade of green before going?????? Which will normally result in a horn been blasted. Does anybody else find this or is it just me?????????? With me when the lights turn green I go, I do'nt sit around waiting for another colour to appear.  Rant over. LOL

Fookin gutted, bought a fujitsu laptop today for £700, a reasonable price considering it was £950 new and it had never even been turned on. Had the fookin thing working for an hour before it blew up. Damn thing stopped working, wouldnt turn back on, no lights, nothing. I decide to give it one more go, plug the charger in and theres nothing, anyway i go cook my tea and when i get back its going haywire all the lights flashing and a very strong smell of burning electronics. Gutted isnt the word :(. Oh well good job it has 3 year collect&return warranty, even if i cant phone till monday!

  20. As above, just waiting for it to dry now. WOW!! What an impressive bit of kit cuts all the hard work out of washing right down, but what a mess it makes of the sponge my lovely yellow sponge turned black, even after I rinsed the sponge through several times its still partly black must mean its done an excellent job of cleaning or its so good its taking the paint off  LOL But anyway so far I am impressed I will wait and see if it dries spotless, best £20 I have spent on the Z apart from my Membership on here ;)

Logitech Driving Force off flea bay for £15 and all i can say is WOW! ive been playing GT4 and its a completely different game   the wheel doesnt just vibrate like the gamepad does, it actually moves depending on whats happening - if an AI car bumps into the side of your car, the wheel bumps in the other direction. if youre going sideways, the wheel tries to turn in the other direction to follow the wheels, while youre trying the keep is straight. its also so much easier to play (once youre used to it) cos instead of just pressing LEFT or RIGHT (or using the thumb joysticks) you can steer to whatever precision you want. the brake and accellerator pedals are co…

As above. Looking? Acting? Mannerisms? My son is very much like me and I sometimes wonder is it because of he's upbringing or is it genetic? maybe both? Just sometimes he reacts to situations in exactly the same way as I do. Obviously gender plays a big part but that aside? A bit off topic but interesting nontheless.
