Nearly 12 months ago i was involved in a car accident were this lad in fiesta collided into the side of my car. I ended up with a fractured shoulder and the car was written off. Now his insured paid out for the car no problem. £600 (was only a L reg escort) but have been dragging their feet with the injury claim. In November my solicitor had not heard anything from the insurer for about 6 weeks so he decided to pursue in court. Anyway court date was last friday and ive just got the result through in the post... I was awarded £1900 and they had to pay all costs :dance: :dance: :dance: What gets me is there was no doubt about the fault or the injur…

The wife has got a blender from America. It has a two pin plug. Can we just get an adaptor that makes it three pin or do we need do do something about the voltage (ie US - 110 volts, UK 240 - volts) Any ideas? Cheers!

Just spent the day fishing from Clacton pier and came home with 3 cod, about 3lb each. I put lots of others back as they were just borderline keepers...a damn good days fishing... SO...cod and chips for tea...yippee....

looking at getting another bike for the summer (cos i cant afford another zed yet :( ), and cant decide what to go for. got a budget of about 2.5k, so ive narrowed it down to the suzuki tl1000s or the tl1000r model or the gsxr750, with the tl1000s being my number 1 choice.....just. just wanted to know if any of you guys got any experience about these bikes? ive read of people having probs with the handling and "tank slappers" on the tl1000s and then another review will tell you this is a load of crap!!! also ive never had a v-twin, so are these better or not? thanks in advance - gaz!

I'll start from the begining.... ;) A few weeks ago I was in B&Q, and spotted that they were getting rid of some wireless PC components (old stock, not selling). Now they were selling them at reasonable prices, like £25 for the router and £12 for a card. So I bought a PC card and the router (didn't buy the laptop card at the time :headvswal ) The idea being that I'd hard-wire the main PC and then put the card into the second PC, but this hasnt happened yet as the (proposed) media centre isnt going ahead at the moment. So I've just been running the old PC with a cable, which works fine. Anyway last week I bought a laptop, ready for my ConZult, so I went back to…
