I've recently decided to leave the police force, for various reasons really. Anyway, I've been thinking about a career in the RAF and I seem to remember a few of the people here are or have served with them. I'm Just interested to know their opinions on it. What was it like being posted all over the place? What was the training like? any help would be appreciated peeps!

Below is a pic of what it looks like now as promissed, wish I had taken some pics of it when I started! Most piccies are self explanatory, except the one in the garage. Thats the neat pile of shite I removed from the bimmer behined the Mazda in me garage. And yes, it really does reach all the way to the floor lol! You would not beleive how much weight has gone so far, I weighed up a load of it and its easily in the region of 80-100 kgs just for the back half of the car stripped (where's nelson lol!). Going to start on the front tomorrow and I'll …

Been trying to give up smoking on and off for about 25 ywears now :smash: Tried the patches, tried the gum, tried the dummy fags, tried will power even tried a hypnotist but nothing seems to help me for very long. OK I admit I am weak I admit that I have no self control but after a chat with Mac1 he advised me about a drug called "Zyban" So I go to my doctor and he tells me I cant have the drug until I have joined a local "give up smoking club" FFS. I dont want to join a fookin club I dont have enough time with my job and I aint an alcoholic or Junky I just want to give up smoking. He knows I have tried all the other things. What on earth is that all about? :headvsw…

hi guys went to have me MOT done today and low and behold she failed  I could'nt believe it first time she's ever let me down. The bloke came from under the car and told me that the steering rack gaiter had ripped in half ( nothing major i know, but still annoying cause if it failed could'nt come to the meet next week. ) Anyway, so gave jeff a bell at zedworld and told him what had happened and he told me that if i come straight away he could squeeze me in. My new problem was that i now only had an hour and half to get there and back so the car could pass before the MOT bloke went home :xxx: So i raced over to jeff ( At the speed limit of course :D ) to …

Firstly, apologies if this has already been on the forum. Found this site: http://www.PipelineCard.org Its an organisation organizing a deal with a major petrol retailer to save members 5 to 10p a litre of petrol. Free to join, and they have a deal in principal with a major retailer. The more members, the more chance of getting the deal. Worth a try? I think so. Thousands signing up each week.

Been to see a lad about fitting a full leather interior. Absolutely great - but just realised I dont have a grand kicking around. so do I..... A. Try and retrim myself with a big sheet of vinyl. B. Buy a retrim kit off ebay and retrim myself with that. Im just wondering if the ebay kits are stiched etc for bending round the centre console armrest - I emailed the guy and he just directed me to a pic of what you get - but you cant see if its just a flat piece of vinyl, or shaped and stitched.
