Well Ryan recons its most likely head gasket but gonna do a couple more tests. If it is then thats £1250+vat, DOH!!!!!! So the engines gonna have to come out. What other things should I be looking at doing to save money in the future? Turbos...recon the ones I have in there with the 360degree bearings or whatever it is, or two slightly bigger ones  How much is the next size up and is it a case of putting them on and off I go or Im guessing it needs mapping etc....? Any other things you would recommend?

Right - think Im gonna bite the bullet and PAY someone to fit a leather interior. Seats are already leather (cracked but not too bad). Because I dont have an eye for colour and dont wanna waste my money could you please say on a black car what colour interior you'd go for. Im thinking cream or ivory coloured. Other thoughts are bright or dull red. Seen a bright red one and am not sure if its a bit garish. I know its all down to personal preference but am just after ideas or pics of a black car with diff colour interiors. Cheers

Just thought i'd post this cos I feel i'm missing not being able to come on here as much anymore. I left my job in january and started my own glass business. Hardly have time for anything lately, getting the business off the ground ,but it's all going really well. The stress and health problems I was having are disappearing thankfully. Anyone else out there who's been thinking about telling their bosses to go **** themselves and reckon they can go it alone........, do it. If you have the belief in yourself , anythings possible! I will still pop in here from time to time and planning a UK trip for the summer. Still a fantast…

Ok people, Here it is! Have finally had a set of headlight inserts vacuum metalized(not chromed), and have been told that they are like the original finish you get on the headlights on a new car. I am yet to see them with my own eyes, but should have them by Wednesday, at which point I will post some pics. The company I am dealing with are not sure yet whether they even want to do more of these because their business usually only work on massive bulk orders, but if it that the finish is as good as they say, and I can convince them to do more, how many of you would be interested in having them done. I have not worked out what the costs will be because I am s…

  16. I had the unfortunate pleasure of driving into central London yesterday to attend the funeral of a close friend (this is the third funeral I've been to in a week ...) It's pissing down with rain non-stop, the M40 may as well be called the "River 40" due to all the standing water and in the 250 mile round trip I didn't see a single other Z (apart from my own). What I did see though more than makes up for it ... 3 Lamborghini Gallardo's driving in convoi on the A40 near Ealing (think they were going to a dealership as all three drivers were wearing the same shirt/tie) 1 Ferrari F40 on the M40 just outside High Wycomb doing about 30mph in the slow lane (LOL) - …

When it stopped raining I had another crack at smoothing the tailgate and altering the rear bumper today. All being well it should be finished by Saturday. However, while taking a break I tried to think if there was anything left I could get rid of and smooth over (as it seems I've done everything else! Check out my Rides for details :)). Looking at the washer jets I wondered if it might be possible to relocate them to the scuttle panel somehow. I also seemed to remember that there are some makes of wiper that have integrated jets...was wondering if that might be a possibility? Think the bonnet could look much better without them...then again I could be getting just…
