Okay so there's a couple of niggly things i have to sort out on the new motor (probably with it sitting so long) I was out toward peterborough way last night roof off etc, very nice Got onto the back country roads and found out the horn doesn't work, so thought i'd have a butchers today. Pulled out this morning and a wire was dangling down so thought, oh well that must be it i'll sort it when i get home. Had a look and found: - one horn in front of the intercooler on the left - one horn in front of the intercooler on the right Then took the centre panel off to see where the wires wnet and found two red horns either side of what can only …

Due to the miserable and un-rebuildable state of the engine that was pulled from my Zed, I asked Jas to rebuild the duff engine that gixxar sold me. Luckily, the bores in this engine were in very good condition, even though as one of the pistons was removed, it fell apart. Not sure how, but the bore survived totally intact and unmarked (all measured). Have a few good spare pistons from my old engine, so now have a complete set of very good pistons and a nicely honed block. Bearing shells suprisingly were almost unmarked. The block has now been chemically cleaned after honing and is now ready for refitment of piston with new rings. Heads are going in for a r…

To gage the problem i have commissioned this poll to see how badly we are all affected. Any self confessed suffers fear not as we are currently setting up a treatment and incarceration program for you. The Hasslehoff Syndrome Research Team

Did anyone else see 'Life of Grime' on Tuesday nights telly. Two Glasgow Council enforcement officers were keeping observations on an alleyway where people habitually walked their dogs, let them poo and didn't clean up the mess. Down the alley comes a Traffic Warden, lights up a crafty fag and when he's finished chucks his dog-end down in full view of the camera. The intrepid enforcers are overjoyed at some action and pursue the Trasffic Warden who clearly doesn't want to be caught. They eventually detain him and serve him with a fixed penalty notice and he gets quite unpleasant, refusing to accept it until they threated to tell his boss. The enforcem…

To set the scene: I am in my Volvo (the van is broken) working in Nuneaton. I leave work at 04.00 hrs headed on the A444 towards the M6. A 3.0 Jag S type (black) passes me and the passenger gives me a smile I smile back and the Jag shoots off so I respond and set off after him. Up through the gears and I am with him all the way to 125 MPH then from out of the blue the rear window of the Jag suddenly is filled with blue flashing lights. I hit the brakes and he just carried on at the same speed. Phew! I feel lucky this morning. I would have paid £100 for a video of it tho'. Fair play to the cop for not nicking me. I bet a pound to a penny the pair of them were absolute…

I have just bought one of the above. Nice Samsung CRT HD ready TV 32". The picture is excellent especially on the X Box 360. I have just learned that you can get a DVD called "Avia" to calibrate the High Definition on the Tele. Has anyone ever used such a thing? Next is a HD DVD player.
