General Discussions - Non 300ZX

A while back, roughly about 3 months ago, give or take, Somebody put up a link for a site with an American 300zx specialist. Video had their garage, a Zed strapped down on a rolling road giving it what for, and their garage was in two tiers. Sorta upstairs and downstairs. Manta V8 might have put a comment on this I think. Was also a few pics of some quite nice Zeds as well. Had a cracking sound track on it, if thats any help !! :rolleyes: This ring any bells with any one ?? If so, post it up again, as I have spent hours on here trying to find it !! :( Alan........

ive got a page on t'internet which i want to be found by the likes of google when people search for relevant keywords. i've tried putting at the start of my page but it doesnt seem to work. :headvswal [obviously ive put my keywords into the content="..." bit]

I have just done a count of the list of people coming to JAE with parteners and friends ect ect...........That makes it 133 people on the stand and about 100 to 106 cars :bow: :bow: ...... So it's gona be Massive....Beer,Food Music and fun...fingers crossed for hot weather.....bring it on YYEEAAAHHHHHHHH :tongue: :tongue:

I'm in the process of removing all the tweed from the panels and then cleaning off the old glue. My zed just passed its MOT with only an advise on low brake pads, i'm well chuffed but ........................... as with every car i've ever had i start to think about selling it after a fresh MOT . :x: does anyone else have the same feelings? (maybe i'm just too unattached to my cars!!) Love my zed but its starting to have niggly starting problems (which could be a faulty temp sensor) :headvswal maybe i should get rid and get a newer 'sensible' (ahem) car :smash: what do you guys think??? :(

As some of you know ive had some oil leak problems on my Z and as its 'sold' part of the deal was to get the leak sorted,so booked it into Nissan dealership as they could fit me in this week. My sysmptoms where oil/fluid from bellhousing but i had a suspicion it was leaking from somewhere else as well. Anyway it went in runing fine apart from the leak. This is what invoice says 'Investigate oil leak from engine-traced to rear main oil seal-also from o/s turbo feed.repair to emlimnate oil leak.refit componments and TEST OK OIl & Filter changed in repair ATF fluid topped up They Called today to pick up the car but it wasnt running right do t…

Car porn as expected and a light washing of a plot. LOVED IT. Almost had the theatre to ourselves expect for 4 chavvy lads sitting in front of us. Don't worry their aftershave wasn't over powering, but their constant crisp eating was a bit off putting. Nice drive back with a little play with a Porsche 911 but the old guy driving it didn't appear to want to play for long :cry: So we left him to it. All in all a nice car afternoon was had by all :D

Going in for a decat today - got it booked in at 2:30 this aft, Here's hoping my Turbo seals are good. . . . . . . engines done 70K miles - regular oil changes, turbo timer - so been shut down proper etc. What can I really expect (apart from possibly black smoke down to tub seals not being strong) Is it Much louder? Power output - is it only a few bhp and a slightly noticeable low down acceleration gain?
