My torque converter blew today while I was on lunch (its been making a funny noise). Funnily when I was spielin' to the old lady at the weekend I said 'Torque converter could go in 6 hours or it could go in 6 months'. Well it actually lasted about 5 hours and 40 min. :(

First of all I have to say that it was great to meet Chunk on the Sat night (hammered tho I was) and Craig David from the internet (again, you may have been as gone as me but I'm not sure, I remember we had a great big long conversation about loads of random things though) before I went back to my tent and drank with some random girl until girl until 4am :duffer: .... (no other details of that available)... up at 8am with the twatty heat burning through my tent like a fireball. :( Then I met Bee Gee Vinz today, and saw the Blingest Bling that ever Bling…

As title, does anyone know a rough guestimate on the sort of numbers for Z32's in the UK? Or even the total worldwide production figure for the Z32? This does have a very good reason behind it :)

i have fitted my new gauges today and im getting some wierd readings from my boost gauge. i put boost jets in a few weeks ago 1.2mm and the stock boost gauge went from 11psi to just under 14psi (i know these gauges are out) so today i wired my new one up and took it out and said 9.5psi with the stock one still saying 14psi. then coming home after 20min driving i gave it some and the new clock read 7-7.5 psi when i take my foot off the throttle the gauge goes to -20psi  any ideas

So... I decided it would be a good idea to replace the moulding beside the windscreen, roof and targa tops. All went pretty well, but man there were some rusty screws holding the targas together (I had to take them apart to refit that bit - as someone already posted, this top guide explains how: replacing mouldings ). One @rsey little one had rusted so bad I took the top clean off trying various methods of unscrewing it and have now resorted to drilling the s0d out. But, like the Murpheys, I'm not bitter. I am however only with one half of the roof on the car right now due to having only completed one side. Moral of the story: If you are going to attempt to take…

To anyone who doesn't keep an eye on the FAQs, and in case anyone's interested, I've just finished fitting LEDs to illuminate what on the US cars are the side-markers. And written it up here... http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=76538 Loads of people have probably done it before, but I haven't found it written up anywhere. Personally, I don't think the photos don't quite do it justice- looks better in the flesh and I'm dead happy with my work! :D Mark

Had some snotty reply from somebody on ebay who said mine was the first rusting J-Spec car he has heard of. Basically i have a minor amount of bubbling on the rear arches. So i was wondering, is it just mine of do any other j-spec owners have this problem.

As title? Does this site keep dropping out, or is it my crap ISP? Twice in the last five mins I've tried to post a thread and refresh a page and both times I received a 'This page is not available' message, then it would work again. This has been going on for a week or so now, but every time I check with Beeline Bandwidth tester it's fine  Anyone help?
