Just read the thread about "V" (which never really interested me as a show TBH). For those that like their sci-fi on the weird side (with an unhealthy brain fixation and more than a spot of raunch thrown in for good measure), some kind souls are posting the different series' of Lexx on YouTube (I'm led to believe they've now stopped selling them on DVD?). Just had a chat witht the fella who's respocible for doing my bodywork. Top guy, not into modifying but give him a classic and he makes works of art. Cant get my car in to be touched up for over 2 months :( because he is on his jack. "I need help, but cant find anyone who is any good" So if you fancy yourself as a bodywork person, then I think there is a job for you. Mind you I dont fancy the bill for the car thats been in tehre for over 2 years, great big 1930-40 oldmobile. Has been taken down to bare metal and a lot of pannels made from scratch. saw it when it came out of the blaster, and it looked like swiss cheese.

Going for a weekend and just wondered if anyone had any recommmendations?

i need to buy a mobile phone for my parents - a simple one with large keys and a large display. does anyone have any recommendations? ive looked through gsmarena.com and a couple of forums but theyve not been very helpful. the only decent-looking one (which was designed especially for the elderly) hasnt been released yet!

was in my local 3 shop looking to see what phones are available as im due an upgrade soon, he said that on a couple of the newer nokias you can get tom tom 8 loaded onto the phone for about £20 (from a phone specialist local to me who i havnt had time to see yet) & add a GPS reciever for £30. anyone have any more info on this?? seems very cheap option or is it a unlicenced D/L do you think??? (not that im that bothered LOL!)

Think my head unit is buggered. Switched the car on and it came up with "Loading" while it read the CD (had MP3's on it so takes a moment). After a while it still did nothing, so tried pressing eject, came up with eject on the screen but did nothing, so switched to the Radio, which after about 5 seconds went quiet, so neither are working!!! Tried resetting, even disconected the whole thing today but when I plugged it back in it still says "Eject" on the screen for the cd player. Any one had a similar experience with an Alpine? It's about 3 years old so surprised if it's gone already. Any advice?

I have been selling bits-n-bobs on ebay partly so I can spend money on the zed but one thing I have noticed is that when I have a few people interested in some things I have, when someone has a highest bid they put in another bid of the same amount. What does that mean, are they blocking other bids? Any info welcome. Cheers John Crisp

Right at the Mo i can upgrade my phone with orange, this has been going on for about 7 weeks, the phone i want is out of stock Nokia5500,so they have offered me an amazing deal to keep me with orange, but this can't start till i get the phone off them as well, and they can't say when they'll be getting them in?????. So if you have two mins could you cast your eyes over the phones that are available to me and recomend one and why or which will have a good sell on value as i hope to get a 5500 off e-bay. thanks graeme

I have a windscreen removal device which the RAC use. I need a spare part for it, so need to find someone who works for the RAC ? Its a TEIN device by the way. Thanks
