I've provisionally organised a photo shoot of the sexy Petra & any of her model friends for anybody who is interested. :hyper: This is a chance to get a very high quality photo shoot of the girls on or in your own car wearing as much or as little as you want. What will an insurance company accept as proof of Cat 1 alarm/immob? I dont have any certificate, all I have is my original invoice from the trader I got the Z from that states I had cat one installed, and the user guide and PIN number from Toad. if this isnt enough, am i able to take it to some qualified chaps who can test the alarm and provide me with something that confirms I have Cat 1?

A guy at work has an Alfa 147 selespeed and he keeps having problems where he parks the car and when he comes back to it, it wont start again. He has spent thousands with alfa trying to fix it and now he wants to sell the car. I am interested in buying it from him but want to run a question by you guys first. Normal autos, you put in park when you stop. I asked him if he did that and he said no.... could that be the issue? Has anyone had a selespeed Alfa here? Do you treat them like regular autos and is he being a numpty? Let me know so I can pick up a bargain! Cheers Steve

i keep getting phone calls from this bank, it is an atomated message that says this is a call for mr ....my name........., then it says to confirm that this is mr .........my name........, please press one, then i do this and it says to confirm that i am mr ..........my name........, please type in your date of birth, which by this time i cancel the phone call, all this is an automated message is this some sort of scam, or is it genuine, they sometimes leave messages for me to contact them saying that it isnt a sales call and i should get in contact with one of their sales advisors :rolleyes: and leave a number (it always comes up number unknown when thay ring) …

ok this is getting complicated I have 3 cars Z in my name 4 years ncd, policy expired 2 weeks ago, renewal 670 quid laguna in mrs's name, 7 years ncd, just renewed it for 200 quid fiesta in mrs's name (me as named driver) 1 years ncd, expires in 2 days, renewal 200 quid my fiesta is dead, need a new run about by the end of tomorrow! Looking at a 2L vectra but they want 700 quid to put it on the fiesta policy! No chance! Thinking about putting it in my name and using my 4 years ncd, then changing it back to the z in a couple of months when the engine is in. Hi all, Anyone know if it is true that a 2002 Rav-4 2.0vvti has 5 (yes, 5??) oxygen sensors? My engine light has been coming on so I had a diagnostic check done at my local garage who identified a lambda sensor fault. After 3 visits, (as they kept buying the wrong part) they eventually cured the problem, but the mehcanic claims there are 5 on the car (not 5 different part numbers for that model, but actually on the car itself). I thought it may have 2 (pre and post cat) but surely not 5........ Anyway, 1 day after they replaced the "faulty" one, the engine light is on again :mad: I guess I'll have to book it in again............at least my ZX nev…

Had my alarm fitted yesterday :dance: v happy poppers work off the alarm and everything is now safe and secure.... however, the remote start works, but only 50% of the time, what i mean is it works but the crank time doesn't seam to be long enough, the car turns over but doesn't always catch, i've got .3, .8 and 1 second settings, even on the 1 second one, when the car is cold it dose not want to play, anybody else had this prob, and how'd you get round it? A bigger batt? would that help at all?? Cheers Neil
