Seems I missed somewhere about members making donations to the forum, was there a post? Take it, that it is to help with running costs etc? and the diminishing incoming cash stream from subs. Times change and people and places can become Dinosaurs like and not changing with current trends, Woolworth and pick and mix come to mind ( for older members) 343 New registered members this year to date * where the heck are they ?? 17 registered members subscribed 74 Subscribed members renewed this year to date Very poor conversion rate and why? Well how is it the forum is back to this >>> “My daugher …

Having spent 3-4 weeks looking for our R, and collecting it just 3 days ago from the seller. My wife was out in it today taking the dog, for a walk, when a driver failed to stop at a crossroads. Luckily everyone was relatively unhurt, (including the dog) just a few bruises etc. Having only driven it once, I think it will be a while before we have it back. Although as it may have a CAT S or N against it I am not sure if we even want to take it back

Sure someone asked about light weight nuts recently and the concensus was to not use them or at least unproven one`s of the tinternet. So I was aware of an issue with these on the BMW site I am on but now have the full story so as a way of warning so take a look here, not good. By Andy BMW forum July 2019 "For those of you who weren’t at Vanity yesterday, this happened at 7:40 am, on the way to the show. All 5 titanium wheel studs sheared The wheel went under the car and then bounced all the way down the road, and into the bush (bottom left of picture). Thankfully, I’d just pulled out of the junction and was travelling at around 15 mph. 1…

OMG, check out the link here> https://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?185111-Bye-bye-EU&highlight=values What we were talking about, and still are in 2019, and so the UK lumbers on, read some of the views and comments " from three years back and it is clear "we knew nothing of what was to come" yet, it was it was truly the fundamental moment where political chaos and the world view of the UK entered a new beginning or low as it turns out, to appear on the world stage, as a country run by a group of morons, shadowed by a group of morons and backed by ..... well leavers. Jeff PS will I need a visa to post here ?

Archie, my eldest, had his first day at big school today. It was only a half day but he had a great time and emotionally kept it together way better than I did. Thought I’d share a few photos with you. Much more relaxed on the way home.

Probably not the most tactful post after the sad passing of Anthoine Hubert - but it looks like Bugatti has beaten its rivals at Hennessy and Koenigsegg to breach the 300mph barrier.... https://www.topgear.com/car-news/bugatti-has-broken-300mph-barrier They kept that quiet - considering it happened a month ago!!

Hi guy. I hope you’re all having a nice bank holiday? I’m hoping to take the front bumper off tomorrow to remove the cheesy mesh that’s been fitted, remove and restore the headlights and give everything I can reach with the bumper removed a good clean. While I’m at it I was going to restore any bits and bolts that I can by zinc coating them. As I intend to do this slowly with any and all bolts I remove from the car I thought I might look into getting a zinc platting kit for myself. Has anyone here got their own, if so any recommendations and advice? Cheers, Chris.

So had my first drive in a new Peugeot 3008 as a passenger, seemed a little over the top inside, tacky almost with the multi led ambient light strips and settings. but was ok, then the driver said oh it has sport mode too, listen to this................ OMG it did not have sport mode at all ! it Has Fake Exhaust Sound Produced by the Speakers what a crap idea that is, sounded like s?hit and the worst of all the completely clueless owner did not realise .... classic Jeff

Looking at attending next year's Hungarian Grand Prix (being part Hungarian is a bit of that reason)! Despite being to plenty of BTCC and WRC events, I've yet to go to any F1 races - whilst tickets for Hungary 2020 have yet to be released, I have a vague idea of what's involved at each circuit cost-wise however I have become a little confused with F1 Experience ticketing and regular ticketing. My budget is fairly high, so if I can gain paddock entrance passes that would be wonderful. F1 Experience website pricing seems quite a lot higher than what I've seen elsewhere and I've seen pit passes ranging from £500 to over £2k. F1 Experience is an official package and come…

Might be just me, but does it bother anyone else that, like me, uses the mobile emojis out of habit... that they don’t show on the forum? Just a couple of question marks instead. Will these be compatible with the forum any time soon? (Nice boring question for you)

Anyone here owned or driven an E55 AMG (W211)? I'm looking to swap the 300zx TT in for a mildly tuned E55 (approx 550bhp). I have a fair mind about the general driveability as my dad has a CSL and I've driven a poverty E-class before. Even the CSL v6 t-diesel isn't slow and gets to 130 in no time at all, the diff is exceptionally good but the auto-changes aren't as quick as modern cars; though the hydraulic block can be swapped out for a more responsive unit. The AMG has air-suspension so hopefully it will be a little smoother, the CSL isn't a patch on the UZZ32 soarer with adaptive air suspension but hopefully the AMG will be a similar level of smooth. I expect rep…
