Hi, Trying to get a printer to work via a wireless network but it just won't see it :( My PC is connected to a wireless modem router with a cable. The printer is attached to the laptop upstairs with a parallel cable. The laptop is connected to the Network. So far this is what I've tried: The printer prints fine from the laptop and I've set the option to share the printer on a network. I've then used the printers and faxes options in control panel where I've tried to add a printer. There are 2 options which you can see in the attachment. I don't understand the bit on there that says "To set up a network printer that is not attached to a print server, use th…

I have spent the day on a calssic car treasure hunt around suffolk. I was driving this red 4.3 litre 2 seater e-type jag in the morning :nana2: And the red MGB cabrio in the afternoon. There was a bit of a "sh1t yourself moment" in the morning when a corner cam up a little fast and the brakes locked up as we are careering toward a hedge. Luckily my boss (who was driving at the time) knew what to do and the car was not even scratched. ;) We went back up the same road later and we found skid marks of about 3 feet. The e-type was a great thrill to drive, just looking out over the bonnet from the cockpit is exhilarating. …

The missus came home the other day and started telling me a story of her drive home: She was driving in traffic and a Ferrari came flying past overtaking into incoming traffic and generally freaking people out. Now I couldn't say much here as owning a rather nippy car I often overtake into incoming traffic knowing the capabilities of the car that I'm safe. On occasions I'd imagine it freaks people who don't expect the car to be so fast. The Ferrari dissapeared around the next corner. When the missus got around the corner there was a pile up :slap: The Ferrari was on the grass verge seemingly undamaged. Two or three cars were on the same side where the front one had obvio…

Same it's not an S14, but still, impressive stuff. Unfortunately, you need to wade through a lot of Civic owners commenting on how cool it is, but there are quite a few photos throughout the thread on the build. http://www.southfloridaracing.com/forums/showthread.php?t=49520&page=1&pp=15

Ok, so what pisses me off about this is the following. Most people who have/drive these cars rarely use them anyway because fuel, tax and insurance are so ridiculously high. So, taking away someone's summer weekend pleasure is a miserable thing to do. I have a very boring second car because of that reason. So why penalise such a minority to such a high degree? http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=20601093&sid=aijQ0.2BMGw8&refer=home

Saw this on ebay and was very tempted:- http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=001&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&viewitem=&item=110144999728&rd=1&rd=1 I've always loved the Gen4 version of the Celica, after all I have owned three of them before. After I bought my first one I was really impressed with it, even though it was not a GT4 or a turbo, but I was seduced by the Gen5 with it's smooth curves but soon discovered it was a load of c**p handling like a saloon car compared with the Gen4's very sporty handling. I soon went back to another Gen4 with some relief. I have to say I am not at all keen on ANY of the later Gen's especia…

Fook me, What a day this has turned out to be. As I was typing up my last thread about my holidays, I received 2 emails from Paypal. 1st email said they had refused a request to register a credit card on my account as the billing address was different from my registered address, and the 2nd email was to inform me that a payment was sent for goods from my account, for exactly the amount in my Paypal account !! Some tosser has just emptied my Paypal account !! OK, there was only £70 in it, but WTF ? Franticly moved all my cash from the debit card account of my bank, to another account thats not registered with Paypal !! Started a fraud…
