Following on from this thread > http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=91760&highlight=owen I've now obtained ALL 8 of the films from both seasons that were made a few years ago, along with how they made the films and a 'Driving Techniques short as well. My personal faves are all three from season 2 (Possibly because two of the Producers from all three films are Ridley and Tony Scott, whom I think are awesome ;) ) All of these were originally availble for download, but have since been removed from BMW's site. If anyone is interested in a copy of these (They are on two DVD's, and I can do a proper box as well) give me a PM. "BMW Films - The Hir…

i think this has been the most updated page with new screenshots: http://www.gran-turismo.com/jp/sp/detail.do?article_id=376 there are actually 3 new GT games to be released on the PS3: GTHD Classic - using old GT4 graphics engine, but in HD. plus Ferraris. plus bikes. plus 2 new tracks. plus online. plus up to 16/20 cars on track at a time. supposedly to be released at budget price. released 2007. GTHD Premium - using fancy new GT5 graphics engine but is only a 'demo' of GT5 - much like GT4 Prologue was to GT4. only a handful of cars and 2 tracks (the same 2 new tracks as in Classic i'd guess). no online play. rumours of full interiors tho, or at l…

Friend Clair has just told me she sent her car in to be repaired atVW Corkills, Derby Road in Liverpool as she had a rear light intermittent fault. It went in for a £80 job to replace a connector, when she went to collect the car they said it was £315 because the fault was traced to a Dashbord Binicleand they had to change it. Now Clair was scepticle so she got in touch with a friend of hers who works for a little known company called Williams. Now this fella works with some pretty high up designers from BMW and Mercedes from time to time and asked them if they had ever heard of a dashboard binicle. So they asked VW head of design, and he said. A WHAT? never he…

  19. Trying to run off some demos a) for people who have kindly said they'll pass them onto people "in the know" but also for people I know who want to hear 'em. Although the former is very pressing (sorry for the delay Liam if you're reading this!), the latter now also needs to be done for tomorrow. I'm working with crummy MP3's rather than the original files which isn't great as it is (the proper demo's are being sorted by my producer), but to compound matters, Nero 7 seems to keeping missing the first couple of seconds off each track when I try to burn them all together. Any idea what I'm doing wrong folks?

I've got an LCD projector in my attic with a ginormous cinema screen. Thing is, the 25th anniversary edition of BLADERUNNER 5 disc box set is coming out soon and rumour has it that it will have a blue-ray version :hyper: . It would be worth the price of a ps3 alone for this as I can't wait!!!!! Thing is, would a blue ray disc played through a ps3 through projector onto canvas screen be better quality? I know you have to have HD ready for plasmas and LCD's , but not too sure how this would work out with a projector, does THAT need to be HD ready or something? Any advice appreciated.....................

I was thinking of buying a HD tv but am unsure of the connections I would need. Obviously for the HD i would have to upgrade to sky HD but what connections would I need from the sky box to the TV. The problem is that currently all my TV's are connected via a spliter to the sky box via normal coax cable. Would this still be OK for the HD connections? or would I be better off running a scart lead to the HD TV. Darrell

Just wondering if anyone's managed to successfully changed career. Currently looking at pooling the skill sets I currently have and looking at moving on into technical sales (consultancy) type role. I've had some positive feedback from specialist recruitment companies regarding this as I have some previous experience and my current business to business environment also puts me in good stead. I want to progress quickly and have better earning potential than my current role. Just wondering whether people have changed roles at this level. I am still young, relatively speaking.
