I've just come off the phone to them, following a letter I received today. Basically, because I've exceeded the 'Fair Use Policy', they will be reducing my connection speed from (upto) 8Mg down to .5Mg (YES that is half meg!) as from the 22nd Oct. They state that I downloaded over 74Gb in July/August and that is outside their Fair Use policy', which they NOW tell me is set at 40Gb per month! But you try finding it written anywhere on the Orange web site...... It's simply not there at all! It wasn't when I signed up, and it still isn't now! So after a very long conversation on the phone with them, I got nowhere and will have to put up with the downgraded speed …

Well after 2 years at 6th form college to get her A levels, 4 years at Uni to get her Masters degree and the last year with a local company undergoing pre-registration training its finally all over for my eldest daughter Leanne. Today she received notification of her pass mark in the Royal Pharmaceutical Sociey of Great Britain registration exam!! So now there are TWO pharmacists at the Slick Pete house. :nana2: :nana2: Im chuffed to bits for her and proud as any Dad could be. It was never that hard when I qualified Im sure :D

I had my grans roof cleaned and repointed, but the cleaner ashed away all the pointing and now the roof needs to be redone only 6months later. The work is meant to be guarenteed for 1yrs, but I cant get the cowboy to come back. How much should it cost to repoint an average bungerlow? The cleaning cost me £700 and they were meant to repoint the odd tile that needed it, but now I need a specific repointing job. Any roofers/builders in the trade know what I should expect to pay for this work?

We,ve been getting a fox around the garage were i work but this ones a bit different cos it,s as tame as fook and will feed out of your hand !!!!!!! So myself and some of the lads have been feeding it much to the dismay of our boss who.s told us to stop :nono: But as you do we,ve carried on looking after it , well i did upto yesterday but no fooking more . It was caught on the cctv system jumping on the bonnet of my car , using it as a step up to get onto a wall we park next to, now that,s bad enough you,d think but no there,s more AND CAN ANYONE GUESS WHAT IT IS ??

Just got backfrom a weekend jaunt to Cornwall and felt like id bumped into Dick Turpin twice .On Friday night pulled into exeter services to fill up with super unleaded ,could have died . Cost 107.9 pence per litre, just outside Truro found it at 101.6 per litre for V power.Again on the way back the wife decided we needed to stop at Michael Wood services .went in and she then decided we needed something to eat so bought 2 burgers and 2 fries nearly 8 quid .Oh the profits to be made at motorway services, wish I owned one

When my car went for its MOT a couple of months ago, the person driving it got caught speeding. I sent the letter off and ‘grassed’ them up as I didn’t want to take the rap for it. The guy who drove insists he wasn’t speeding so it’s off to the court. (November). He got a letter through the post about his court thing and there is a photo of the car ‘speeding’….. Got up to find my boxer pup has a lump on her chin, she broke her jaw earlier this year so not worth taking a chance so straight to the vets where it turns out the pin has come loose and caused an infection :( so an operation later to remove the pin and wiring and she's fine but i'm £300 lighter :slap: Picking her up from the vets when the wife rings to say she's broken down and it turns out the clutch has gone :smash: so thats another £400 down the drain as i havnt got time to fix it and she needs it for work :mac1: So not done anything today and i'm £700 lighter.....well i say £700, ive just got back from the pub so theres another £40 :rofl: Mike
