I've got a new project arriving next week and my mate is insanely jealous... He's got a 200sx that he's had for 9 years and we always have jovial rivalry on the car front constantly, anyway not to be outdone he went and bought this engine & gearbox yesterday: Yes that's an 8.3L V10 Viper engine  And the funny thing is he doesn't even know what it's going in yet lol :lol: Who'd like that in their Z?!

I fly a lot for my job, sometimes several times a day, but yesterday when flying home over London I noticed something I've never seen before. I looked out of the window and noticed a strange blurry, colourful hue on the clouds in the distance. As the aircraft descended, this hue became more prominent and detailed so I decided to take some pics and also recorded a video before we descended through the clouds. You'll see during the video that a shadow of the aircraft appears inside this hue and gets closer and closer as we breach the clouds. I thought I'd share: https://vimeo.com/103437957

A very unusual event is taking place this year with the Canadian Lancaster flying to the UK and displaying with our own BBMF Lancaster at a number of air displays in August. These are the only two remaining airworthy Lancasters in the world. For those of you who are into watching (and hearing) WW2 piston engine aircraft this is something not to be missed. The sight and sound of eight merlin engines in two Lancasters roaring overhead in the UK skies may never happen again. Further information and display dates here: http://www.warplane.com/lancaster-2014-uk-tour.aspx

LOL - following on from Allan's thread about ingrown whiskers I thought I'd ask where we stand on this topic..... Whilst I have always maintained good oral hygiene with brushing, flossing and Listerine; my teeth have always been more ivory than white. I have never smoked but years of rich/spicy food and wine/beer have obviously not helped. I have seen my dentist about it and signed up for the whitening treatment (I won't try the cheap DIY kits you can buy on the 'net!!) - followed up with a new crown and possibly a veneer or two if necessary. So am I being too girly-vain, suffering from a mid-life crisis or is it acceptable.....?? Richard:biggrin:

I need a new job and quickly now........ I work in a residential home.... Just had my 'on call' manager having a go at me for calling her in to cover as i needed to leave work on time and they tried to make me stay an extra couple of hours...... apparently, I should have stayed and not bothered coming home, leaving my own kids with a babysitter expecting me back at 22.30 and me not getting home till after midnight.... She actually lectured me and said staff need to stay, what if it had been a major incident..... I just said, " Isn't that what 'on call' are paid extra for?"..... didn't go down well..... lol I am solo sick of being expected to stay late 'Unpaid'…

My sister lives in Munich and was out visiting friends in Zornerding, a suburb of Munich when she came across the below! Rather amusing! I've been to Minge Lane in Upton and Bell End in Birmingham, I have also driven my Z through Condom in south Western France as well as Anus which is about an hour south west of Paris. Doesn't beat '****ing' or '****' in Austria - those places do exist! But anyway, welcome to **** Street!

A woman driving a 14 plate car putting £5 of fuel in before going to pay at the kiosk. Which to me begs the question - why oh why oh why, if you can only afford to put a fiver in, would you be driving a new car in the first place? No doubt the car is on finance as well - one wonders if that is a struggle too? Doesn't it make far more sense to run an older car and be able to afford to fill it up???? Or is it just my strange mind that works that way? Rich

Afternoon guys. Nice to see lots of familiar names around here still, I do still have an occasional read through to see how life with Z32's ticks by... My old car was up for sale a few months ago does anyone know if she got sold again? I have been trying to rack my brains but I just can't remember who it was, there was a member here that worked for Mercedes and knew an awful lot about them. I was wondering if anyone can point me in their direction. Long story short ive aquired for want of a better word a CLK350 and I had a couple of quick questions for a man with some knowledge. Mainly before I go and get my backside handed to me at a main dealer for trivia…

Thought I'd post up a video I made of my bike track day at Brands Hatch a few weeks back. The footage was taken with a pro HD cam that I hired for two of the sessions as I didn't take my own GoPro this time. People who've seen Tron will no doubt get the reference. Password is “brands" https://vimeo.com/102378265

How is everyone doing? Apologies for the lack of posts over the last few months. Apart from being zed less I've not been too well. However I'm getting there now slowly. To kick start my recovery we decided on a trip to the not so sunny Scotland. Got a caravan for the week and I'm not going to lie it's a beautiful part of Britain to drive through. We are staying at sundrum castle in Ayr. Just south of where JaiKai lives I belive, in Troon. Shame your zed isn't ready bud otherwise I'd have popped up for a nose! I will be back in a zed soon but as a true pro ill be buying in the winter when the demand and prices are both at their lowest.

I can't seem to find anywhere to post a wanted listing. As the current wanted section diverts you to the classified section. And i need to be subbed to sell. I'm more than happy to sub up. But I'm at the pub with cash and no card. Is there any way of me posting a wanted advert? thanks Adam

It is 1233, a rumble signals the approach of the 1222 to Aberdeen. The windows flicker by my brain managing to make sense of the odd still image, my head scans and eyes jitter, first quite rapidly then slowing, like the carriage of a typewriter that slows as the typist tires. To my alarm the windows show a preposterous scene, I quickly land on the only two possible explanations. This is the 1222 from Seoul to Ho Chi Min, or some sort of world record game of Twister is being judged onboard. I wonder if I have a seat and check my ticket, sure enough "27A" I glance up as from left to right ...L... ...M... ...N... Turning on my heel I run bag on shoulder c…
