Found a guy not too far from me who does wheel refurbs and paints them for £40 a wheel, he also does fancy paints but they can be slightly more than £40 a wheel but thought it was a bargain. If anyone wants his number then let me know. This is nothing to do with me and i have not tried him. Mike

well after ive broken my old man's Rover 214 :smw: its time to get a new car. decided we're going halves on a car - a car that he'll drive instead of the astra estate if (IF) my Z is working, but a car i'll use WHEN my Z is broken again :rant: looking for a new car - about £10/12k - preferably a hatchback with a bit of poke (but want something pretty good on economy too) - 1.6 petrol. perhaps a civic, A3, golf, something along these lines. any suggestions/experiences? :)

I have been looking to buy a sub and amp for the mini and am wondering most of the packages i see are 1200W subs but only come with a 600W amp...... How do you know if the amp is powerful enough for the sub???

just been watching a bit of a programe called phone rage, it shows people in call centres talking on the phone in front of people and also being filmed while doing it i hate speaking on the phone, i hate spekaing to strangers even more, and i cant pick the phone up and say hello if someone else is in the room with me i can speak to total strangers and speak to them as if ive known them all my life in person, but when it comes to phone's its a big no no lol

God that place does my head in sometimes Father in law has been after an old mini cooper for ages now so we spot one on ebay for a decent price and more important its local so as it had a buy it now price we bought it, insured it and arranged to collect it today, while we were on our way we call the RAC HPI place up and they tell us it was a CAT C write off :rant: nothing mentioned in the sales ad so call him and tell him were not interested in it. As title says, had a great time, he's a great performer and has an amazing voice!!! It was at the roundhouse in Chalk Farm which in itself is an amazing building!! Got to go in the VIP bar and see him back stage after. Reason i got them is hes my 'step sister's' boyfriend ;)

I know it won't be an exact science but any ideas how thick the total amount of paint would be for a pearl colour built up from metal, so etch primer, base coat, pearl and then laquer? Cheers Vijay
