I'm currently driving a '57 plate Merc E320 CDi whislt my own car is being repaired after a slight accident. I stopped at a Shell this morning to refill it with diesel, as it was down to the last 1/8th on the guage......... .......and the bloody thing took the princley sum of £96.31 until the pump shut off:eek: If it had been down to the warning light it would easly have been over £100 for a full tank. Now that's just wrong........ Richard:(

My personal circumstances have changed and I need to sell the Z  I'm going to loose out big time in doing this but I dont really have any other options at the moment. I'll be looking for the same kind of money as Crotchrocket, will start advertising later tonight. Full spec is in my rides for those who dont know my car.

...theyre removing the FTP capability from their customer's websites and replacing it with a flash-driven 'canvas'. so all those of us who have created their websites with tools like Frontpage etc. and uploaded them now cannot do it. all this new rubbish lets you do is drag fancy pictures of butterflies and spiders onto a page :xxx: and theyve given people less than a month to either entirely rewrite their web pages (if thats possible with this new software, which cannot do simple stuff like tables, java, etc.), or find hosting elsewhere. :headvswal what buffoon thought this one up!??! sometimes i feel like giving up i really do! :slap:

Thought about all the stabbings recently and came up with:- Carrying a knife in public should carry an attempted murder charge and the full sentence handed out with every single case. If you’re carrying a knife you must be intending to use it yes? Therefore charge them with the fact. Your thoughts??

I hit a patch of grease going round a long sweeping bend on the way to work this morning, the car careered off into the opposite side of the road and into the hedge, at which point one of the wheels caught on a gulley and rolled the car. Police, ambulance and fire service turned up. Was taken to A+E and was kept in while waiting for a specialist to take a look at my X-ray due to an anomally which turned out to simply be genetic (They think). Am back home now but bloody sore...

Even thought about this http://www.scooterworld.co.uk/topMenu0.cfm?mastermenu=0&subMenu=1&appname=Win32 but seeing as the amount of damage i had last time i was on a bike i'd best give it a miss!!

As some may be aware, my Dutch brother-in-law decided to play lets fook the Zed up day the other month. He hit me from behind and has taken full blame for the accident. I get in touch with my broker to inform them of the accident and they then appointed a solicitor. (The no win, no fee type). I was unaware of the fact somehow they havent used my Norwich Union Insurance policy that they put me with, but used their solicitor. Cutting along story short i had someone come to value the car and damage. I thought it was from the rep from my Brother-in-laws company but it wasn't. It was from mine(as i received the letter today). I have been told the car is a write off and the…

Just booked my Z in for a bayside blue respray!! cant wait, it's going to look the nuts! it's gonna go soooo much faster when I get it back! Had anybody noticed body shops down south (i'm in hampshire) take the p1ss with thier quotes? It's about 500-600 cheaper for me to have the car shipped to nottingham, have the work done and shipped back than it will be to have it done locally! wasted about 3hrs driving around to local shops today, lots of sharp intakes of breath through teeth, "oooh thats a lot of work guv, we'll have to take all the panels off and everything" one place even said it was too much work and they didnt want to take the job on…

Hi, I seem to be having no end of problems at the moment (thankfully not all PC-related ...) This particular problem has been happening off-and-on for a couple of months now but has recently got more frequent. Symptoms: Power up the PC - DVD-writer light flashes three/four times and then remains permanently on - this in turn SEVERELY slows down the booting up process (approx. 3~4 minutes of staring at the Windows screen) - the DVD-writer drive assignment (ie. drive E on the system) is non-functional (ie - it does not appear in the list) It has no other impact on the running of the system other than that I can't access the drive. In the past, a qu…
