Hey folks. Long time no see and all that. I've got a family car now and missing my Zed. I'd like to get another one if circumstances permit. Anyway... some folk I know on a motorcycle forum are on about taking their cars to Santa Pod for a RWYB day. Has anyone got any suggestions on how we co-ordinate ourselves on the day? No one really knows anyone other than on-line. How do you meet, is it worth setting up a gazebo or similar, do mobile phones work ok there (what baout internet on them)? I remember a lot of the day when I went was spent queueing up for the strip, which makes it harder to get people together. Any suggestions for organising / co-ordinating would…

im sure there were some decorators on here before, im redoing charlies bedroom and the woodwork was new last time, undercoated and sanded 3 times to get a nice smooth finish for gloss, i used johnstones undercoat and liquid gloss, it really was like a mirror as im very ocd about paintwork and has to be perfect, it has had the usual yellowing but has worn quite well otherwise and is still a lot whiter than most other paints ive seen now ive been looking at paints and thinking of using johnstones aqua paint and undercoat but someone mentioned that its no good if the surfaces (woodwork) has already been painted in oil based undercoat and gloss does anyone know if t…

Hi, One of my many hobbies apart from spending countless amount of money on zeds is programming. And mixed with gaming; both the online and offline types of first person shooters I have medled with creating my own levels and games in the past for the likes of quake, Duke Nukem and Unreal. I've always been fascinated with what in the 80s was considered Virtual Reality and my first experience Seeing this although not in the real world was in the movie Lawnmower Man. This gave you an idea Of what it possible could be like but with 80s style graphics. Fast forward to the present date and we have the first true Virtual Reality system : The Oculus …

I'm not a welder but I am in and around quality welding on a daily basis and have a real appreciation for the art. I have had a go at various forms of it but they always looked rather 'abstract'! I saw these sexy welding pics on Facebook and thought I'd share:

Before any one jumps to conclusions, no I haven't been banned for being a bellend :) The other night I was preparing some sound equipment that I sell as a side job for extra cash, I had just listed about half and was putting it away upstairs before going down to do some more. As I was going down the stairs I had a little accident :( I must have slipped about half way and went down head first. After 6 hours of waiting to get to…
