I was in a taxi one day and he had this sat nav, i couldnt take my eyes off it cos as we were driving along it was showing real pictures of the buildings as we were driving past, it plays mp3s and has the ability to play it through the car stereo by tuning it into an fm channel, if that wasnt enough, it plays videos, pics, games nice size screen. A great, but annoying speed alert in the form of a police siren. All this technology for £99 Most of the picture maps are of major towns and cities, but also available are the european picture maps which is handy to be able to recognise a building or area you are looking for. Much better than my tom tom and great f…

i meant to post this up at the time but just wanted to say to all those into modifying your zeds be extra dilligent and thoughtful with the mods you do esp to brakes, wheels, suspension set up etc...a man was recently found guilty for carrying out mod's that sadly resulted in a fatal crash (killing his own kids)...the key issues in court were the work to the car which he had done himself...this work put the car out of spec and rendered it un-roadworthy he was prosecuted on that basis by the police/cps...he will be sentenced later

"The better your brakes are, the quicker you'll be able to go. " I have just read this on another forum. I know it's early in the morning and I can't sleep but it just doesn't seem right to me.

has anybody any views on these? they are getting VERY cheap at the moment and i am on the verge of considering one. currently got the Griff 500 so i know it would be a large step down on power, noise, looks and quirkyness but the advantages are reliability, could use as daily driver and...? now i have started browsing, im rather torn!

We share a drive with our neighbour. He's a retired fella and an all round good bloke. Our driveway was all concrete and it had seen better days (cracking in places and a bit eneven) and my neighbour wanted to get it replaced - I told him that we couldn't really afford it. He went ahead and got a couple of quotes and before we knew what was happening, there were lines painted on the drive and a paving company's sign in front of the neighbour's house. I asked him about it and discovered that he was planning on block paving his half and leaving my half concrete! Work was supposed to be starting the next day :( Thinking this would look stoopid, I got the contra…

I don't know how many of you have heard of this unique and slightly eccentric rally for charity but from the things i have heard it sounds like it could be quite an experience. More or less the only rule is that the car enguine must be of no more than 1litre. (this can be bent slightly, but is frowned upon, because of new rules for 09 due to mongolian enforced restrictions on age of donated cars.) here is a link to the site for those of you who are interested. http://mongolrally.theadventurists.com/index.php?page=thevehicles The point of this post being that over the next couple of years i plan to enter with 2 of my friends. This is a bit tricky as you hav…

On 30/12/08, an unnamed British Airways employee found she had broken down, and she was stuck at work late at night. She did the obvious thing, and rang the AA. The trusty AA patrolman duly arrived to assist. Unfortunately, he was unable to repair the vehicle, and so arranged the appropriate equipment to get the stranded lady home. All did not go exactly to plan. Please view the security video showing the exit lane from the BA head office. http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=jrE7uLh1FfM
