I have just recently purchased a 1990 Volkswagen Corrado, it is the 1.8 16v with the active aero spoiler. The car is red. Currently it has no tax or MOT. Does anybody have any idea if it is worth anything or not as it is? Thanks, Dan

Hello. As you may have noticed i have my zed up for sale. Two cars that i am thinking about going for are the seat leon cupra r and the honda civic type r. Mostly swinging towards the cupra r as i liked it before i got the zed, it has 5 doors, looks really good and i love the sound of a dump valve, which i could install.lol. On the other hand, the build quality and speed of the nippy on civic type r are intresting, but i dont now if i will like the position of the gear stick. Anyone got these cars? Fancy a swop.lol?

Something I came across today - Hartwick's Rule of intergenerational equity! It sounds complex but it basically says that where a resource-abundant economy fails to fully reinvest the proceeds of the sale of those resources it will deplete its total capital and run into negative savings. For example: extracting and selling oil amounts to running down the capital of a country, unless the receipts are fully reinvested in financial, physical, environmental or human capital. This would in effect be 'reinvesting' the proceeds of the non-renewable resources thus providing 'resources/returns' for future generations. Interesting when you think about the path the UK…

Something I wish I'd never done with O2 was renew my contract with an 18month one in August last year. From what I understand, to break the contract, I'd need to pay off the remainded of the line rental, or an agreed sum. Has anyone done this? What kind of fees did you guys end up having to pay?

What is the legals on tinting the font windows, I was always under the impression that a light tint or even at a push a dark smoke would be ok. I asked in a shop and they said that none would be legal.

Just now, i was sitting at home having a beer with girlfriend and my daughter, I hear a serious rumble come past my house and stop, so i wonder what it was and look out, A good friend of mine Steve, has bought a new toy to replace his soon to be sold impul zed. A fully tuned Gem Racing Noble M12 GTO, so of out for a little drive, fook i thought the zed was quick, but this is a total animal, twin turbo sitting behind your head the noise is outstanding, and very very quick. Spins wheels in most gears. Will get some pics tomorrow with his and my zed, and the Noble. Wow, lucky git.

:nana2: as above... got myself a new car. rx8 231, 6 speed. only got 3500miles on the clock and got it for 8500 pound thought that was not a bad deal for a car that is a year old today. goes really well and handles like a dream you can really throw it round those corners. really loves to be reved too. just love that beeping sound when you hit 9000 revs just to remind you to change gear. what do you lot think of these.

The WRC was in my neck of the woods all weekend, so even though I'm a lazy sod and it was absolutely freezing, I ventured out to the main pit areas and rally hq. I saw Sebastien Loeb there and some of the other drivers after the rally finished. Some of these guys are not much bigger than flat jockeys and the taller ones are as lean as could possibly be. Talking about keep rally cars light.... these boys most certainly don't add much extra weight.

Ok guys, following on from the Saturday night debate, which I didn't have any time to contribute to, except say that I believe in God (not specific Religions), have a look at this video. Some may believe and some may reject but definitely worth a look! Its 2 hours long and after the first 10 minutes it gets good (I mean gets frightening) but please watch from the start. The first few minutes are audio. Covers 3 main subjects : 1. Religion 2. September 11 (did you know a 3rd building collapsed that no plane hit????) 3. Central Banks, Federal Reserve etc... http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-1817848131611744924&ei=IMR1SbvlLorojgKp5vC7BQ&q=Ze…

He wasn't going fast but few mins later loads of cop cars flying past on the other side of the carrigeway in pursuit. Can't find owt on the news pages so presume he got stopped without injuring anyone. Any locals know anything about this? ps he was in the outside lane.
