I have just been watching the news, with all the Vehicles getting stuck in the snow and Ice. and I am fooking amazed at how many people that have NO clue on how to drive in snow & ice, almost everyone they showed were in 1st gear with there foot flat. there was a BMW Z4(rwd) with his foot flat down, revving the arse off it, and was confused as to how his back end was all over the place. IDIOTS! :headvswal P.S Someone could make a fortune selling snow chains right now. :p

Been meaning to ask this for a while now. Do we have any budding astronomy anaraks in the club? For the past couple of month now, I have noticed the brightest star I have ever seen in our night skies and wondered if anyone knew what it was. It's that bright, you wouldn't think it was a star, more like a jet's lights. If you pop outside now and look into the night sky (south westerly), you cannot miss it. It's not overhead, you'll need to look at an angle of about 30 degrees. I can always see it from around 5:00pm (south) and about 8:00pm (west) Someone please enlighten me. :D

I've just got back from a meeting/interview with Perfection Detailing ( http://www.perfection-detailing.co.uk ) and, to cut a long story short, I start working for them on Monday!! I will be running a fixed valeting site at a car dealership in Northamptonshire (A5 Car Sales near Towcester) where I will be valeting all the site cars, as well as private customer cars. Also, in time, the gaffer, Neil, will be training me in all aspects of paint correction and top level detailing so that I can help him out with that when necessary. This job came about while I was on holiday in Cyprus and I have been wishing for something good to come of it, and today it has. This …

Afternoon all, :D I've recently tried to fit a CD Changer to my Rover 220. I have the (OEM) R770 head unit and obtained an OEM (Alpine) changer complete with the full bracket and cable for mounting in the boot. Once it was all fitted properly I tried it out and got a 'CD Error' message on the display! To cut a long story short, As it had only cost me 99p + P&P off eBay I wasn't too worried as it had come complete, so I found another one also on eBay and bought that. This one came with the mounting bracket and cable for under the passenger seat. Firstly I plugged it into the boot location and tried it, this also showed 'CD Error', so I tried it with the new …

Found this on another site AL QAIDA OFFICE OF OSAMA BIN LADEN CAVE 7422, TORA BORA, AFGANISTAN INTERNAL MEMORANDUM To all Jihadists, Subject: The Cave (do not distribute outside the Organization) Hi guys. We've all been putting in long hours recently but we've really come together as a group and I love that! However, while we continue to fight the infidels in this New Year, we can't forget to take care of the cave, and frankly I have a few concerns. First of all, while it's good to be concerned about cruise missiles, we should be even more concerned about the dust in our cave. We want to avoid excessive dust inhalation (a health and s…

Hi all, things are starting to heat up (if you'll pardon the slight pun ;)) for my band, "This Burning Age" and as we've got a couple of interesting gigs coming up soon I thought I'd post up the details in case anyone fancies coming along for a night of copious alchohol and loud music... :D The first is at the Wharf 101 Bar in Walsall on Friday February 13th : http://www.myspace.com/wharfbar10 A great looking place in a nice waterside location it's a crackin' venue that makes a huge change from the usual "indie toilets" you sometimes end up in! ;) We're headlining the night supported by 4 other great bands plus a guest DJ (which is looking likely to be Emma Sco…

A guy wants to test drive my car but due to recent weather etc i have Sorned it and also not bothered insuring it again. Someone wants to test drive it and i have asked for cash up front to do so, anyone got a good sentence or two that i could write down and get him to sign so that i am not liable if he bends it?? Its hopefully unlikely as i will be there in passenger seat etc but you never know. Maybe if i get him to sign a 'sold as seen' and take the cash before he drives it and write the date and time of purchase on it?? Then if he bends it the money is mine ???? Thanks
