Guys, I'm in a state of shock at the moment as we usually pay about £60 - £80 for our monthly sky bill. But this month it has come in at £224 + £11.50 BT line rental. We have Skyplus (basic package with a few extras) Broadband free calls to UK. Multiroom I've not logged in to sky yet to see where all the money has been spent but I'm sure that even £60 a month is probably a lot more than most people pay. I'm looking for options.... What do you get for your money and how much are you paying. Thanks Stuart

Had today booked of for ages, so my and my girlfriend went to Thorpe park, As im a complete white knuckle loon, have been watching this since last year being built. All i can say, its fooking awesome, you have no idea how vertical it goes. right result going on a work day, when no schools are on holiday. Out of all the rides, which on a weekend during school holidays you can queue for nearly 2-3 hours, today no longer than 15 min wait. If you like coasters this is a must.

... the other day (in fact VERY noisy!) so, as I used to repair washers in a past life, I knew instantly what was wrong and what parts were required. I got on the phone direct to Creda parts (it's good having trade contacts ;) ) and decided to order the bearings as well as a new spider, as you never know until you take it out what the shaft will be like! Well once I'd taken it all apart, I remember now why I packed it all in, I was very glad that I'd got the spider...... :nono: The inside of the outter drum and the inner drum rear were all scored and well marked, I'm glad I was at home the other day when it went in to spin now :D Just wish I could sort El…

  22. Any tech guru's help me on this one (er...not to mention my post re: ageing laptop that can be found elsewhere! :D ;)). Out of the blue last night I tried logging onto my hotmail and MySpace accounts and, although I can sign in, it won't load up either my InBox in the case of Hotmail (it loads the words "Inbox" and some of the items on the top bar but that's it) or my Main page (or Inbox) in the case of MySpace (pretty much the same deal as Hotmail, it loads the top bar and that's it!). I'm using Firefox v3.0.10 and have checked my Firewall settings and the latter doesn't appear to be blocking them. I DID try switching to IE tonight using the Firefox plug-in "I…

love this...it must have been great to watch  http://www.cbc.ca/canada/north/story/2009/03/23/hotel-prank.html A sleepy guest at a Whitehorse hotel fell victim to a late-night hoax Sunday when pranksters pretending to be hotel staff instructed him to hurl two appliances out of his second-storey window as an emergency measure. Staff at the Edgewater Hotel in downtown Whitehorse said the Victoria man was sleeping in his room when callers woke him up shortly after 11 p.m. to say there was a gas leak in the building. The callers, who said they were from the front desk, told the guest he had to increase air flow into the building by throwing the room's t…
