  1. Ok not zed related but take heart zed owners everyone has issues with their cars at some time, at least your zed looks great even when its broken!! So seems another neighbour at a near property had an issue with his wife`s Fiat Punto 1.2, overheating very quickly and a local mecânico had said must be the head gasket without even opening the bonnet ?? His wife is dogs mad and the car is used to ferry around 6 dogs at a time so believe me it needed the window leaving open !!! jeez quite how they drive it with the pong!!! So anyhow I quickly established that there was next to no water in and so easy job first was add water, not long and the sound of tr…

Came across this youtube link about a certain chain of garages that are quick to fit parts that you may not need, I am shocked by the senior management staff who after seeing the evidence roll out the usual corporate dross of lessons learnt and implementing more training...... seems their mechs need feeding more nuts !! be careful guys. I'm having all my driveway dug up and new paving laid next week, I'm considering using a urethane matt finish sealant as soon as it's laid before it gets dirty or weathered, just curious to know any thoughts from anyone who has used such a sealer, would use the Resiblock brand as it seems to be the market leader for this type of sealer.

So walking the dog in the Sunshine and the distinct sound of a misfiring engine came up the hill, the car in question a VW polo 1.2 was struggling to make it up the incline and as it struggled to passed me, I saw it was a local from a neighbouring property. Now for those that do not know the 1.2 Polo is a three cylinder engine so with obviously one not working it was struggling on just two which is some feat in itself! I popped around and suggested we have a look and low and behold a failed coil pack on the back cylinder so no mystery there then, but the plug on that cylinder was a shock to see, the amount of crude built up as it not been firing was amazing. …

After scouring the internet for a personalised wooden toy box for my son, I found the exact one I wanted, however I would get very little change from £250 after they added on all the extras (like paint... and his name... and the paint for his name...) Anyway, I decided that was all bit of a rip off for what is essentially, just a box. So, decided to make one myself. I've done no woodwork since leaving school but loved it then just never had the time or space up until now. So, just a few days at a couple hours a day after work and here is the result... What do you all think? Personally I'm pretty darn chuffed :D It's even b…

Just thought I give you guys and girls dog owners a heads up what happened to our 6 week old puppy. She managed to bite the top off a Kong treat toy to get to the treat .The toy got into her intestine and the vet had to remove this today with an operation at the cost of £2000 . So my advise is don't give dogs these treat toys .

A few pics today to celebrate a 1000 miles journey through just about every weather you can imagine, a day cleaning yesterday and the results were just begging for a few pics. Amazing technology, a 500+ bhp V10 and returned just over 25 mpg, and in comfort too, been said this M6 looks like a mash up of my BMW 540 and my Twin turbo zed, quite like that !! Jeff

  25. The following companies I have used in the past so thought I would compile a short summary and rating on my dealings with them. I have just bought a 99 spec 300ZX so went back to them to see what they could do for me. Lynbrook Insurance - Overall rating 0/10 I used Lynbrook to obtain quotes on my 1995 TT previously...just to compare with Footman James (who I normally use). They were not very competitive so in the end stuck with FJ. This time around though I gave them the opportunity again. Called them up gave them all the details they needed and they wanted 24 hours to give me a quote. I wasn't especially upset by this but I delayed buying anything to give…
