when selling a car which has a private plate that I want to keep, what is the procedure? Do I have to remove plate before selling a get new V5c or can I sell car & transfer plate to either another car or to retention at point of sale?

This isn't a For Sale thread; not just yet anyway. I bought this Toyota Granvia earlier in the year to convert to a camper/day van for surfing. It's pretty much complete now, however I'm in two minds with what to do next. I don't want to shell out on a full respray at a bodyshop as I do intend to sell it very shortly; though I have considered a couple of lairy colours (sky blue or DRIFTWORKS orange & black etc) with a few decals to set it off. Today I went to the chemist and asked for cream that would ease the pain on three of my Nipples. I stood there and explained that they were itchy and imflamed and that it no longer wanted to be like a cow!. The woman looked at me and said "what you have five nipples??" and then handed me some E45 cream.
