We're looking to get some work done on our new Land Rover Defender and are in need of suggestions for companies to carry it out: soundproofing, a full retrim and fitting a much better alarm (it's more than a wee bit frustrating as stuff like laying soundproofing is something I would've taken on myself a couple of years back but now my Crohns has got worse it's a bit too much for me to take on unfortunately :( ). One of my friends called me frantically saying they needed £60 as a matter of life and death. They gave me some crappy excuse about why they needed it but im sure its for drugs so I refused to help (again always £60 and I never got the last £60 back). What do you think it is at £60 a pop? I had something similar happen to me before from an old school friend and he was a Heroin addict. No matter how often he said he was clean I knew that whenever he wanted money it was for his dealers.
