Had a little coolant leak on my GTO so thought i would sort it out. Got onto the job and found where it was and i thought to myself ah good thats easy just need a new hose which i got from a guy breaking a GTO 5 miles from me. Swapped out the pipe and still the same :( So had to take a few more bits off and hey presto found the problem. Only took me 2 hours to strip down to this as well which does seem alot easier to work on than the zed. Marty

has anybody got any idea what it would cost to send 2 zed size tyres to italy been stitched up big time me thinks on ebay

I was under the impression it's illegal to fit gas meters in a house? Basically my neighbour has had 2 extra gas meters fitted so 3 in total but the guy who fitted them is in no way shape or form registered.

Couldn't help it , but i've gone and bought another Car Still got the Zed , parking up in the garden to do some work on it Got a quick question, for my vehicles i usually put a Car pc in, does the lot, well, for this car i'm thinking a single Din with motorised screen or a double din unit. However, i want one that apart from playing cd's/mp3/dvd/avi etc and a radio, i want it to do sat nav AND detect speed camera's. Now thats the rub, i can find plenty with sat nav, but trying to locate one with a speed camera detector is proving difficult to find. So has anybody found one yet? Cheers Rich

Just got back from my holidays and remembered my MOT ran out on the 16th august!!! :stupid: lol problem is my car has a de-cat so meaning more fumes and loud of course.....any one around the south, west or north London area know or even work at an MOT garage which could help me out ::sweatdrop: BTW: my car is a 1999 Honda Civic so i know i must had a cat on it :blushing: Thanks N300TT

Are you having any problems with your email at the moment? I'm getting mail delivery errors around 2 out of 3 times I check. The error is that It can't find the server! click it again and it's fine. It's been happening for a couple of days now. Anyone else getting this? p.s. I'm using Outlook as my client.

ive just renewed my car insurance today after a couple of phone calls in negotiation with my broker . to cut a long story short my original quote was for third party fire and theft cover was upgraded to fully comp for half of the original quote . the moral of the story. they need your business more than you need them . a little bit of hard nosed negotiation can save you loads . i saved over £200 and got the better cover. i reckon i could of got him round to polish the car the way he was grovelling.

Ok guys picked up the GTO today and once ive cleaned her i will post some pics however i want to get cracking on swapping out the old coolant pipes as i know these went first on my zed with them being 17 year old. Now ive got about 60 sites in my favorites all over the world for all sorts of zed parts but nothing for the GTO so i need to build up the favorites for parts. Gave me an idea for a thread actually to pass on this knowledge of websites :) Could the guys that have owned GTO`s or own them now post some links to good sites for parts as the GTO forum dont seem as friendly as zed drivers plus it looks like if you aint paid your subs no one will help you …

Guys, having a nightmare of a time bleeding my sons brakes on his Pug 106. Initially just bleed them as paart of a service when he bought the car some months ago. After managing to shear off 1 bleed nipple, changed the master cylinder they last about 2-3 weeks and then go to the floor again. I need to replace a bleed nipple at the rear as it's now pretty much fubar'd. Although it not leaking there! I haven't found any leaks in the system all the slave's are good. Each time I bleed them I only get a small amount of air out, I know that it only takes a small but I'm buggered if I can found out where it's getting in.
